Anointed Sealed...
by zeroday init has been over 70 years since the anointed number has been sealed.
assuming those anointed were of reasoning age when the number was sealed and the great crowd came into play, how long will the fds stick to this reasoning that the anointed still exist.
or will there be "new light" as in the 1914 understanding.

They have never known what they were talking about. In the vast religious sphere words mean things. The more you repeat something the more you believe it. You get to a point of no return, you can not change what you have been saying in the event you have to deny everything you have said before. The WTS is approaching a wall they can not climb. The 1914 and this generation debacle was every so artfully dodged. This they can not dodge. They will hit a wall that will destroy them. The sooner the better.

Will Power:
Some times it's just prestige. We had a so called anointed in our hall. A bastion of Christian example you would think. He barely ever went out in Field Service and meeting attendance was abysmal to say the least. The elders can not deny anyone who claims to be of the anointed. To do so would be working against Jehovah's Spirit. So they just meet in their tiny rooms and form their own opinions.

The society hit a wall with the "1914 and this generation" dogma. They dodged a big bullet but the society had "New Light". Sure the rank and file bite at it "hook line and sinker" but that's how they are programed. With out the remnant alive and well at the end of this system all of their end times predictions are null and void. Mark 13:20,

Assuming those anointed were of reasoning age when the number was sealed and the Great Crowd came into play, how long will the FDS stick to this reasoning that the anointed still exist. Or will there be "New Light" as in the 1914 understanding. It seems to me this is the last wall they can hit without going over it.

Guess what I saw today...

this is nothing unusual at this hall.
when i drive by in the mornings to take the hubby to work, i often see lexus, bmws, mercedes, caddies, audis, etc.

Does anyone else not really care about Katrina?
by sonnyboy inok, some people may call me a heartless bastard for making this thread, but i have to be honest.. i really don't care about the hurricane victims.
i highly doubt that the people walking through walmart with shopping carts full of clothing and electronics would send me one f'ing red cent if i was in need (and i am in need, by the way).. i just can't find it in my heart to care at all.
maybe i'm the only one who thinks like this, but i've been struggling to survive for the past 2 years and no one has ever lifted a finger to help me.

JW and Hurricane Katrina
by Jeannine inmy husband spoke to my mother-in-law (a die-hard jw) after the horrors of katrina started to unfold.
her only comment was, "this is nothing compared to what armaggedon is going to be like.
wait, you'll see".

You have to wonder how many of these super rightous JW's are going to open up their homes and take in other misplaced JW's to stay with them for an extended time. They talk the talk but when it comes time to walk the walk it's "Do as I say not as I do". We had a brother in our hall that was separating from his nonJW wife. He goes to super rightous Elder and asks for help, he needed a place to stay. Brother super rightous elder says "Sure I can help you. Call this brother (me) and see if he will take you in. Obviously he couldn't be bothered.
