My parents told me: "We have to love god more than humans!" (Their god of course equals the WTS, as was already explained.) They felt they had to decide between me and god. Who can win against a god? So I lost.

"Public Talks" and "Committee Meetings"!!

i just got an email from the department secretary announcing a "very special public talk" (by this visiting scholar etc) that will be tomorrow here at school- .
stuff like this is funny to me cause so many of the same expressions that the dubs use are used in school here... it used to creep me out but now i kinda revel in using as many of those expressions as possible cause it is a kick in the pants...!

Lately I stumbled across the word "overseer" and thought: Grown ups don't need overseers and using this term is a good proof for the claim that the WTS is a high controll group.

Someone to be Accouintable To
by Satanus ingrowing up w a very demanding/strict/abusive father, and w the wt religion and the yhwh god, i always felt that i was accountable to those authority figures, 24/7.
in my teen yrs, i had to leave home, so my accountabiblity to my father diminished.
he was dffed a bit later on.

I bet your dentist does!
But it's true, we are free. This freedom has a very special sweet taste after we were so unfree in the past. Funny thing is that we otherwise wouldn't be that aware of our freedom so we thank our awareness to the WTS in a way.

an average life span lasts less than 30,000 days.
we sleep a third of that time, so the days we experience number less than 20,000. we may try, but we can't ever completely deny our mortality.

I don't consider DEATH my destiny but LIFE! We need to be born to be able to die.
We all will die some day, that's for sure. So why wasting our time with worries about something we cannot change anyway? We're better off using our energy to live LIFE to the fullest.
And whatever - if anything - comes after death is none of our business as long as we're not there.

well i think i am coming down with something.
i have had this feeling recently that something bad is lurking in my body and is just waiting for the appropiate time to make itself manifest.

I know how it feels. Been through the same. So first of all be sure, you're not alone in this.
My advice from my own experience: Stop now and stand still for a moment. Realize: Now you come first. Treat yourself to something good right now. Get you something mouth-watering maybe? A walk in a park or grassland? A beer? Take a hot bath? You probably know what does it for you. Now give it to yourself! You need it and you deserve it.

JWs and the weird way they say Happy Birthday

25 today.
it would be sooooo wrong for someone to say -- "happy birthday" .. but its fine to mention that i am 25 today.
