What world scenario would make you go back?

whenever the world has a bit of a hiccup (like the y2k bug) people seem to be keen to pick up their religious feelings again.. are there any situations that might make you heed back through the kingdom hall doors again???

When the elders ask me to give my own talk (as opposed to the WTS) on child abuse and how to protect the congregations children; that will never happen so the chances are very slim to non existent.

It was a joint decision on behalf of the building committee, half of them did car park duty and didnt want other people to see that they werent listening to the meeting when they carried out this ~~privilege~~ duty.

not sure if this has been posted.

there have been a few threads about the george benson singing kingdom melodies cd that is doing the rounds in dubdom.

seems the wt doesnt like it.

The WTS did run similar talks at DA's about music and i remember my mother frantically listening for debased lyrics...get this though...she actually threw Dolly Parton and Kenny Rodgers Island in the stream in the bin because it mentioned...wait for it???? 'making love to each other'.

Now how unbalanced is that.!!!

On another seperate issue I had to relent and let her also do the same to my music collection...(i was eleven) I lost some perfectly acceptable Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin and Grateful Dead....nightmare....little did she know that i replaced all that had gone and more...

i hate making this statement bec i dont want you to all start hating me.

but since i came on here i have been researching a lot.

Holly, what you decide is upto you and it is your life.

In your research think about who is providing you with such information and why. The WTS operate a high control group and rule through fear, peer pressure and guilt; personally that doesnt sound like an organisation supported by a loving god and I cannot support it however i am open enough to accept i maybe wrong and would welcome someone elses view point on this. Its upto you Holly.
