Local Needs Talk....Why Are People Missing Meetings?

" meeting attendance has never been as low as it has been this year!
if anyone here knows of someone who is not attending meetings please stop in on them to let them know they are making satan happy.

The world is full of selfish people that are controlled by Satan, and sad to say some of our brothers and sisters are also becoming as selfish."
These elders never give a crap about anyone whose mind isn't stuck in 1950 gear.
Talk was given by my fleshly "elder" brother who hasn't called me in the 4 years I've been back in this area...I'm not DF'd or haven't DA'd myself.(Yes he has my # but keeps "losing"it.)

however those scriptures were twisted to encourage everyone to give.

Well Juni funny you should ask. I swear I passed mine to my wife sitting next to me, but maybe that's just because she wore the pants in the family at the time.(Damn Pioneer sisters)

they have the frickin' dec 15th already posted on jw.org!.
rumors are swirling as to why but ultimately it is of little matter since the oct 15th takes us into jan.. so if you have been 'privileged' to get your nov 15 (or dec 15th) please, please, please scan them in for us red-headed step children ''mother"" has left-out of the loop!.

Brother Guy Pierce gave concluding talk at D.C. in Los Angeles
by BonaFide inthe last talk at the convention was about serving loyally with jehovah's spirit-directed organization.
i had such a hard time sitting through it.
even last year i actually enjoyed it.

Brown Bag lunches provided for the DCs? Porta Potties there's a combination
by bronzefist injuni and i were talking, and she vaugely remembers brown bag lunches provided for the dc at the racetrack in chicago, it was either when she got on the bus or off the bus.
anyone remember that practice in chicago or elsewhere?
she also mentioned the porta potties at the racetrack.......how awfull they were.
