I am a better talker than listener. I realize that being a good listener is important especially in close relationships, so I'm consciously trying to improve my listening skills.

Are you a better talker or listener?
by JH ini remember going door to door, and we knew what we were going to say even before the person opened the door.
if a person had their own idea about god or religion, we just didn't listen, and kept on preaching what we were taught, because there is only one truth, and we had it.
right.... today, i feel that i'm a better listener because i stop and listen to other people's point of view.. .

Do some WT phrases make you squirm?
by jeanniebeanz infor me it's "the doors of the ark are closing.
i can never forget as a child, being forced to see the graphic images in the publications showing families, mothers with little babies clinging to a rock and others drowning as the ark floats away.
fathers shaking their fists at god for destroying their families... it's like some of the little mind control still functioning in there somewhere causing a kneejerk reaction of uneasiness.... are there any others that bug you?.

As much as I hate to clean the toilet after men, I do not like the idea of teaching boys how to pee sitting, I find this to be very undignified for a man.

why dont KH have windows?
by Buck inis this to save money?

My KH did not have windows at one point it did but they painted them over on the inside, put wood shutters over and blocked them in from the outside to be flush with the rest of the building. And I have never seen a KH with windows myself.

so.............im divorced, have 3 kids, lived in florida for 15 years, now back home in wi.

My father(elder) wont let me borrow music!

well my saga continues.... for those who don't know i am getting married this being my second time round, only difference is im marrying a non believer.
i have been fading from the truth for bout 3 years now.. anyway just a short time ago my father (elder) suggested that they look after my son so my new husband and i could have a honeymoon.

Try getting some music online, that way you can sample stuff and don't forget to check out the bridal magazines for advice on good reception tunes. Your dad is just being the typical dub father who's kid is getting yoked out of the so called "thruth" so he has to show that he is displeased in order to feel right with his concience. Pretty pathetic.
