13% Valis??
That is high for you. Is there some kind of help we can offer you to repress those JW longings?
Maybe you need to drink, smoke, fornicate, get high more often, that should help you.
Dragonlady76<---23% very shameful!
i've wasted most of a day putting this quiz together.
it's only 10 questions, please give it a go and see what you get!.
if you think it could make a decent anti-witnessing tool, i might dress it up with links to the quotes site and the watchtower site to prove the accuracy of the points made.. if you see any inaccuracies or misleading comments, please let me know.. url = http://www.thebentinel.com/jw-quiz.php (embedded below).

i'll try to make the religious story short.
my grandma has been a witness for a really long time.
my grandpa, catholic.
I'm so sorry Cindy. Remeber to keep your chin up, he is your grandpa not the congs.

i just got my hands on a copy of my book of bible stories ... (1978).
at first i was excited when a friend pulled it out of his bag, said he'd gotten it as a kid.
then i started flipping through, looking at the pictures, feeling the memories spin in my brain.
Me thinks Nathan has the correct book title!

ever notice how the "happiest people on earth" are also the most class-oriented?
to say that jesus said his followers should all be on equal footing, it's incredible how much the r&f witness is not on equal footing.
the social structure in the congregation is more complex than the blueprints of a nuclear warhead, but just so that you "remember your place", see if you can find where your niche was/is:
I would say #3 & #5.

a friend of mine told me that an elder said to him, "i've noticed that all the elders in the congregation are doing well financially, because they put jehovah first.
they have nice cars and big homes.if you put jehovah first, he will take care of you financially.".
i don't believe god does this kind of thing - otherwise, why are there so many poor elders in developing countries who can't even afford a bicycle to get around?
Yeah, I heard this growing up. The active JW that puts Jah first will be rewarded but, the broke, laid off, living on welfare brothers and sisters are "spirtualy weak." What a crock of s**t!
Just about every one I knew growing up, that is now an active JW, putting Jah 1st is now broke. So go figure. No ambition or education means = no $

i have always been curious about some of the google ads that appear on this web site.
(i know how it works?the webmaster pasts a code, and google puts up whatever ads they want.
) has there ever been a thread on this topic?
WLS said,
I guess they'd frown on it if I put - "searching for meaningful short-term relationship" huh?
LMFAO!
We should all go to these sites and post personals with proper JW values and see what we get? Here's mine: JWSHF 28 seeking JWSWM for marriage. Would prefer blond hair blue eyes, attracitve, tall, male with commitment on his mind, must be an active witness attending all meetings and be an MS or Elder. Aspirations for Bethel a +. Would also like that my mate be "very well endowed" in order to have a happy marriage. I am a pioneer, very theocratic and conservative girl. My interests are going to the KH, underlining my Watchtower, praying, cooking, cleaning, following male headship, field service, participating in drama's at all circuit and district conventions. Please respond quickly I'm already 28 and need to have sex.

an elder told me the other day that the reason the society is making the awake!
magazine monthly, is to cut costs.
didn't tell me that the society were simplifying, or trying to make the awake more kingdom friendly.. nope, just cost cutting.
"Watchtower cutting costs"..........well isn't every corporation now a days?
All those publishers on JWD sure ain't helping!

so i?m thinking of going out to a lonely place once a month or so to smoke a tobacco product in rebellion against the wts.
(hey gimme a break here, i cant go out on a fornicatin spree).
cigarettes aren?t really my style, so i?m thinking a cigar.
My husband likes Romeo & Julieta's

i know i come on here a lot and laugh at the crazy stuff i used to believe.. it's a terrific place to vent my frustration at the org.
and share experiences with people who understand.
but i find that when some people trash talk witnesses who were never part of it i end up sort of defending them usually.
I tell them I was once a JW and I happily join in on the JW bashing.

so ive been a witness my whole life and i hate it.
i believe its effed up my life.
no sports, no extracurricular activities, small amount of friends, and im like totally innocent compared to my friends i have now.
I'm sorry you can't get your ex-gf to go to the prom with you. But be greatful that at least you are allowed to go to the prom, my parents would not let me go because it would be unbecoming of a proper JW. If you can't get a date, dont't stress about it to much, just go with what ever friends you have and try to have a good time.
