  The first thing my hubby and I did was get tattoos. But we have always felt completely free to defile eachother in the bedroom-------I have never understood how some JWs were bullied into confessing their private business. What a load of crap! I didn't know one young JW couple who didn't have oral sex before marriage. Wouldn't that freak out the fossilized members of the GB? Especially since some only believe in the missionary position.

  The biggest thing though that I had always considered the ultimate in seperating myself from the org was registering to vote.

  here is the entrance to walkill... another good use of those voluntary donations.. here's the boys doing some work on... bindery equipment i think (at this point i was still half asleep).

  in a small frying pan melt a generous amount of butter.. cut 2 apple bananas in half and then in half again.

  if you can't get the small frying bananas you can use regular bananas but buy them a little on the green side.. fry the bananas in the pan until golden brown.. mix in with the bananas a full table spoon of good honey.. add several pinches of brown sugar.. top everything generously with cinnamon.. add a splash of rum in the carmelized sauce.. remove the bananas from the pan on a serving plate.. top the served bananas with the carmelized/rum sauce from the pan with a spoon.. top lightly with powdered sugar and coco powder.. top that with shaved coconut.. enoy and aloha.. .

  Six Billion Hearts Will Soon Stop Beating. . .

  announced our circuit overseer last night in his talk about the urgency to preach because of the times.

  followed by a silence that was broken with ohhhs and ahhhs.

  he said that a couple of times throughout his part, simulating a beating heart with his fist.

  That comment from the CO makes me sick.

  It's almost like 2 Timothy 3:1-7 is talking about JWs. Verse 3 speaks of having no natural affection,not open to any agreement......verse 5----having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power. Verse 6...For from these arise those men who slyly work their way into households....and finally, verse 7 --always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of the truth.

  for an oldie i'd pick audrey hepburn singing moon river ... mmnnnn, i never get tired of that.. currently i'm listening to norah jones an aweful lot.

  she is very easy on the ears and is my "audible-heaven" right now.. so who's voice makes you 'melt' ?

  In the last three years of my JWdom--I would cry at just the thought of having to go to another meeting. The doom and gloom attitudes that are so abundant in the org made me feel like a traitor to myself, a happy outgoing person. To this day when my in laws start in on what a horrible world we live in----I lose it! I am compelled to point out all of the truly beautiful things you miss when you only focus on the depressing. I absolutely love life outside of the org. and I do consider myself a "better" person in the sense that I can actually interact with people because I'm interested in them and not just interested in how I can preach to them.
