It's called 'pacing yourself'.
If you were in a hurry to get to a door or territory you were told by the pioneers to "slow down and pace yourself". You get creative when you have to put that much time in.

i have only to turn into any road or street and if there are any jws operating within my area of vision i can pick them out.. it may only be something that occurs in uk but they actually walk at half speed.
yet if i see any local jw in the town shopping they fly along, except the very old ones.
we are in the end of the end time.

what do you think is the best way to fade away from the jw org, without being df'd and without being bothered by them?.
just stop going and not answer their calls?.
change congregation, and never show up?.

my mom as well as a few others are "hooked up by phone" to the meetings.
lately, the elders are saying in their talks that if a brother or sister could be at the meetings but instead are "hooked up", then they are hurting jehovah by not having regular association with the "friends" at the kingdom hall.
Its those kinds of people that had my mother pioneering while she was being treated for cancer. Those same people had the nerve to roll their eyes when they would ask how she was feeling and she would respond honestly. I hope God shows them the same kind of mercy that they showed to my mother.

i walk alot in the summer time, usually about 5 miles a day when it's nice.
i never eat too much, so i don't gain weight.
a few days ago, i bought 2 ten pound dumbells and elastic bands and hand grips at walmart... i exercise with that about an hour a day.

We found out three years ago that my hubby was allergic to wheat also. Unfortunately, I've learned how to make all of those yummy cookies, cakes etc. with rice flours! When we went to the gym all of the time it didn't matter much but, we've moved recently and the goodies are catching up with us!!! Time to get back to the gym!

When disasters strike, they are quick to respond with relief supplies and other humanitarian assistance.
Hmmmmm interesting. I think that we all know that when the tsunami struck indonesia, those oh so wonderful people were conspicuously absent from the relief effort.

here's the dirty dozen: .
1) ants- imagine being buried in a sandpile up to your neck with sand.
along come a bunch of ants from an ant colony, and they crawl all over your head, in and out of your nose, your mouth, your ears, your eyes, and all thru your hair.
Wasps!
I was out at the lake one day a couple of years ago and I was bent over trying to get on my air mattress without getting wet. There I am with my butt in the air and a wasp stings me in a most embarrassing place! Thats not even the worst of it! Where I was stung swelled to the size of a baseball. I had to walk around with a baseball sized bulge in my bikini bottom. Painful AND humiliating! Damn wasps!

she was 86 years old and in a nursing home in florida.
she was a jw and had been active up until the last few years of her alzheimers disease.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
Maybe it is best that you aren't able to attend her 'memorial'. I have always found JW memorials to show a sickening lack of consideration for the still living family and friends by not honoring the deceased. They have an agenda.
Why don't you try to call your grandfather instead? I'm sure you'll both be glad you did.
