i am compiling info of how people are treated within the wts.
i just read the post about a person being counseled for having baby shower games.
My best friend was told that she needed to get a breast reduction by a group of sisters in her hall. Can we say- JEALOUS?!!!
Right after my hubby and I got married we were approached by a group of elders. They wanted to discuss with us our method of birth control. My hubby told them it was none of their business and we left. I STILL can't belive that happened----it doesn't seem real.

i was watching a great sci-fi movie the other day (chronicles of riddick) and there was a phrase in the movie that jumped out at me.
a soldier was being promoted and he said the phrase "obedience without question, loyalty till underverse comes".
i thought "wow, just replace underverse with armageddon and that sound just like the witnesses".

having the short "it's not the truth" conversation with my mum was painful enough and the after-effects are horrible.
a sort of 'tactful' wall went up between the two of us - i hate it.
i can sense that my mum gently shepherds my kid brother (18) towards his sisters ('elders wives') rather than have him spend time with me.

wilmington, north carolina (ap) -- a man who ordered a pint of frozen chocolate custard in a dessert shop got a nasty surprise inside -- a piece of severed finger lost by an employee in an accident.. unlike a recent incident at a wendy's restaurant in california, no questions of truth have been raised about the finger served up to go at kohl's frozen custard and found later at home by clarence stowers.. officials from the state departments of agriculture and labor went to the shop monday, and the owner confirmed one of his employees lost part of a finger in an accident with a food-processing machine.
Is it just me or are there far too many severed fingers in the news lately?! AND!!! Who in their right mind puts something in their mouth before they can identify it? I wonder if it tasted like chicken.

i don't know if this has been discussed before.
if it has, just give me 20 lashes with a wet noodle.
The first thing my hubby and I did was get tattoos. But we have always felt completely free to defile eachother in the bedroom-------I have never understood how some JWs were bullied into confessing their private business. What a load of crap! I didn't know one young JW couple who didn't have oral sex before marriage. Wouldn't that freak out the fossilized members of the GB? Especially since some only believe in the missionary position.
The biggest thing though that I had always considered the ultimate in seperating myself from the org was registering to vote.
