True. They would have to be recruited and cultivated just like any intel asset. Some would seek you out if your opposition status were well known.
When are the df announcements made? Those meetings are public, no? How else would someone findout that a df occurred?
And I know they would be glad to cleanse the org.... to a point. But you have to square that desire with their desire to see growth.
It is all about the headcount.

This would also work for anyone who is getting a return visit made on them or a bible study
These guys would be nice to target as well. You could either do this directly, which would require first hand knowledge of studies and return visits. This would require a very good fader, and would unfortunately be fairly easy to identify.
Another way is to use a broadcast medium. A billboard placed near the KH advertising JWD. Newspaper ad. Radio. We are talking cash for some of these.
The bible study or return visit is indeed a juicy target. The question is how do you identify those folks?

Like I said, if you could get good info on when/who a df occurs I think it would work quite well. That is the real trick though.
I see your sources of info as non-jw family members and faders. The non-jw family would quickly be shut out once the paranoia sets in. The jw-elder-wife cackle machine would clam up pretty quickly. Then it would be a matter of identifying the fader.
Those considered to be spiritually weak would be targeted. That would be helpful in that it would push others out.
It could also be problematic if the fader is still afraid of being identified. In that case they would be reluctant to endanger their fade and offer outside info.
But I am just a UBM, not a dub. You will have to consult the experts here.

The idea is that there should be a way to immediately contact the newly df'd, give them the support they need, and the information they need to ESCAPE!
Then the local elders will start to notice that the df's never come back. They might even catch wind that df's are getting contacted. This will make it more difficult and costly to df.
This all hinges on good intel.
Somone in the cong needs to be able to alert the "proper authorities" when a df occurs. The fact that someone is offering inside info on the congregation will induce paranoia in the elders. They will know there is an opposer in their midst! They will need to investigate! They will need to threaten people with df to find the apostate! But wait. They are reluctant to df because the df's aren't coming back?
The ensuing atmosphere of paranoia, df-ings, and witch-hunts will turn off the otherwise normal sheep like jws. They lose faith in the org. They are ultimately df'd.... a vicious death spiral ensues.
The key here is good intel inside the local cong, and a good quick response team when the inevitable, random df occurs.
The rest will take care of itself.

i mean think of how many bethelites have interent access and know the gb are tyrants, but are stuck there at bethel because they have no money and no place to turn because they have been there for many years.. i think many gbs purposely keeps to themselves now a days, they probably should even think seriously of a body guard even while at bethel.. have you notice the wt doesn't give any advance notice when a gb will be speaking at conventions anymore, could it be that they are worried that some father or other family member who lost a child through thier no blood policy, finds out throught the internet that the gb are phoneies and now blames the gb for the loss of life.

The more I think about it, I realize how powerful this would be.
If they caught wind that df's were being contacted, aided in their exit from jw, AND NOT RETURNING it would make it harder to df.
On the other hand, if someone is always tipping off that someone is df, then there is an opposer in their midst.
They must conduct a witchhunt! They must threaten to df anyone they suspect!
But wait. The df's never come back anymore.
And imagine how many true blue jw's will be turned off by the whole process.

I am not kidding about wanting to figure out how to take congregations down either.
I have all sorts of ideas for how to do this. It is a matter of figuring out what works, and letting others know about it. Here are a few random ideas as I think out loud.
For instance, anytime someone is disfellowshipped, they should be contacted immediately by an ex-jw.
A method for identifying and recruiting faders could be the greatest tool ever. They could provide all sorts of inside info on a local congregation.
Like where people are going for field service or for coffee during field service (to leave some opposing literature).
I would like to advertise in local papers and bill boards for anyone who has had a knock on the door to come to jwd to talk about it. That should make field service a lot of fun.
Another idea which I haven't develped very well yet, is to generate a relationship database. Such a thing was used to find Saddam. Figure out how everyone is related and how, throughout local congs, and eventually with the help of other ex-jw, throughout the entire org. This info could be used to contact non-jw family to bring them into the cause. Another thing is we could really generate some actual statistics on things, such as org growth, number of destroyed families, number of deaths due to blood....
Eventually we keep hitting them from so many directions, and in so many ways, it will induce paranoia.
The org will turn on its members.
That is when the fun will really begin.

Yeah. They have been destroying lives for over 100 years now.
All it takes is one guy who has had everything he lived for taken away from him by these guys.
Let's take 'em down before it gets to that.
I personally have this fantasy of getting so good at opening the eyes of JWs, that I am able to literally cause entire congregations to implode.
