how would any apostle or follower of jesus know the contents of a private letter written to pontius pilate by his wife?.
how many followers of jesus were in the same room with jesus and pilate?

In my personal experience that's what caught my attention when reading the Bible. It's similar to fiction because it is fiction.
A person that believes in the Bible, can watch or read another piece of fiction and notice details that for sure couldn't be possible in reality. But when they come across something like this they are conten with saying, well "God figured out a way to inspire these thoughts" or any other excuse.
i was reading a thread on here the other day, and it occured to me.
the very thing i have claimed in the title.. reading you all bickering over a certain subject.
i assumed that some of you are only here to genuinely to create arguments, and i saw that some are genuinely lost and some of you dont believe they are lost but they are.. i saw you judging your fellow posters as if you knew something, but truth be told none of us do.
What I find ironic is that you support the exchange of ideas as long as someone does it the way you think it should be done. You want freedom of speech but you want to put a limit on it. Freedom of speech is FREEDOM of SPEECH. No matter what the fuck the other person says about you that is FUCKEN FREEDOOM! This is what all your post is about! It's not about knowledge, it's about YOU having a problem with the way people express themselves. Look at it! It's all written all over it!
So if you could run things then you would make it against the law to talk down to someone on the internet?
And last but not least, have you heard of science labs in High School and College? They don't just read books, they do labs. Have you ever been to a museam?

I think we were on Exodus when I got the idea of reading the Bible from the start to catch up. I even calculated how many pages I had to read per day to catch up. After I caught up with it I thought it would be nice to skip ahead....and before you know it I was in Revelations. I started viewing Jehovah in a different light... I started to doubt.
That led me to read the publications more carefully and I just saw a lot of BS just put together. Specially the book Prophecies of Daniel, I just thought they were just making up shit as they went along trying to fit in the prophecies to modern time. So in a matter of a few months I just said I'm out!
