Aguest, Yes, I am limited. And unless you have contributed to progress of humanity, you are also limited.
1. Imagination to Reality. Difficult. Check.
2. Imagination to Reality. No results. Yes you are limited.
3. Several peple have done it. Check. I haven't, have you?

Who's old enough to remember Queen for a Day?
by Nickolas inwhen i was a kid back in the late 50's / early 60's (yes, i am very old, now let's move on) there was a television program that capitalised on the lives of miserable women.
it was my mom's favourie.
each day monday to friday there would be four women on the show, each with a sad story to tell.

And I'm already impressed with the Itouch I have. I have Netflix on it and the picture is so clear. I can watch a movie anywhere in my house.

How much do you believe in God's blessings?
by stillstuckcruz inthe more i talk to the brothers and sisters, the more i question what so-called "blessings" god gives to us.
yesterday i had the #3 talk at the hall.
and because my family has that "perfect family example" status in the hall, i got all the comments about how wonderful i did and how fantastic it was for being a young man(20)....yada yada yada.

Well, I do my best writing at the last minute. Everything else I can't procrastinate. lol
That's how they get young kids more indoctrinated. I remember at school I was the loner, and at after a speech at the meeting I felt like a rock star. lol Oh I'm so glad I didn't stay in.

Makes me wonder what awaits me when I'm older. TV's are getting to HD for me. When I watch a 90s movie that is remastered in HD, I just shake my head because I can't enjoy them in HD. They look TOO clean.

I used to do the same thing! I was 14 but I was very good at making up talks, and they used to brag about how good I was and that one day I was going to give talks at assemblies.
There at the end I used to push the limits of time of preparation. Once I did a speech 30 minutes before the meeting started. LOL

What was your most embarassing WTF experience with a fanatical witness??
by Reality79 inwe've all known those fanatical witnesses who are guilty of pdf (public display of faith) and always have to make a big song and dance to the whole world and let everyone and their dog know they're a faithful witness of jay hoover!.
1) when my mother first came in 'da troooof' this wacky, over zealous 'sister' was studying with her - you know the type.
this woman was one of those not so subtle individuals who would always talk loud in conversation and say the name jehovah a million times even when the conversation could have been about basketball.

Damn, that is crazy.
I think the only embarrassing moment I ever had was being pulled out school for parties. That was embarrasing for me as a kid.
I do remember this one time, I can't remember what the occasion was but we had to have our parent's signature for it, and I was the only kid that their parents didn't sign. The teacher wanted to go too, so she said screw it, we're going. Just don't tell your parents. I jumped up and said no "No problem!".

No shortage of prophecy
by jean-luc picard init is easy to understand why some could have nagging doubts when seeing world events.. "maybe it is the truth after all?".
i came accross this site http://www.prophecynewswatch.com and realise ( well i knew already) that there is no shortage of prophecy, or prophets.. in 1970, i was just a boy, i remember hearing on the radio.
"by 1978 there will be no water left that is fit enough to drink, but we shouldnt worry because by 1977 the air will no longer support human life".

Yeah my brother who is still a JW,(He doesn't shun me because I will kick his ass), told me the other day that they found radioactive from Japan all the way to Nevada! That this is a sign that something really bad is about to happen to humanity!
I felt like slapping him upside his head. But I told him that every generation thinks this is going to happen. I told him I will remind him years later if I'm still alive about what he still thinks.
