  Anyone being to Harvard here?

  I just skimmed over the article. Same argument is made time and time and again, and not just by the Watchtower.

  The argument that because you see complexity around you it must've had a designer. Yet they don't use the some logic when it comes to God.

  That's a weak and insane argument.

  I still would've left. Those were not issues at that time, my faith in the Bible and God were the issues.

  So everything else was irrevelant.

  i think from now on i should just start talking figuratively whenever i want.. but i'm not gonna tell you when i'm talking figuratively.

  so in some other thread if you see me talking about the time i smothered a 2 year old i was babysitting, you'll have to guess whether i'm being literal or not.. and when i tell the tale about the time i laughed so hard i shot pepsi out my nose, i could be serious, or i could be being figurative.. and if i say that i'm a 32 year old billionaire heart surgeon with a third arm that helps me with surgury.

  ...about funny revenge plots on the jw's?.

  - dressing up properly, going to a random memorial where the people don't know you, and "partaking of the emblems".

  - going to a random kingdom hall where the people don't know you, give a couple "real" jw comments to earn trust / cred., give a third comment that contains the "f" curse in it, then act like nothing happened.

  Marking?? WTH is that?

  i was a baptized jw for about 6 years in a spanish congregation.. and i never ever ever heard anything about "marking"... what is that??

  i knew someone can be disfellowshipped, publicly/privately reproved or dissasociated themselves.. but i never heard of marking.. can someone please care to explain that term to me?.

  Lol! That's good, I haven't been in 13 years. But I do remember some people that had been "censurados" y "expulsados".

  Yeah, marked is a new concept for me too. Guess they didn't do much marking at mine, they wen't for swift action!

  i knew someone can be disfellowshipped, publicly/privately reproved or dissasociated themselves.. but i never heard of marking.. can someone please care to explain that term to me?.

  The borg - Star Trek

  does anyone remember the first episode that the borg were introduced on star trek the next generation?.

  if someone remembers the name of the episode, or the season and episode #, that would be great.

  The Voyager was able to stand up to many attacks by the Borg because they had Seven of Nine who helped them adjust their defenses.

  The ship was able to stay in prestine condition because they had replicator technology, which meant they could virtually replicate most parts for the ship.

  I want to fade but ...

  i need an advice.... has been 2 months since i went to a meeting and or field service, i received a call from an elder saying that he wants my monthly report , i dont know what to do coz he is been calling me for 4 days now i dont want to answer the phone, but at the same time i feel like just sending the report.

  the question is, should i fade slowly or just stop ?

  my family isnt jw only my mom is inactive..

  Glad to hear that. Hope everything keeps getting better for you, as things got better for me.

  Enjoy your new apartment! I remember when I upgraded, felt good to wake up in the mornings, lol.
