  mr michael jacksons trial starts in a couple of weeks.

  Mary, exactly, he is emotionally stunted, but as far as guilty goes, if he is and I believe that he is, I hope he gets to meet his new husband in prison and get some return on what he has done to young children. a trip down memory lane so to speak.

  What is irksome is the fact that these people when in prison are protected, i believe they should be in the regular prison population so they can enjoy all the benefits of thier crimes and suffer, or enjoy, which ever the case may be, the fruits of thier labors.

  just got off the phone with the judicial committee, the same one that i blew off last sunday.

  i wasn't even sure they'd call, but come to think of it, i think that's just what they're supposed to do if i don't show up.

  they called as a conference call (none of them has been willing to talk to me on the phone alone!

  You should stand up after the ass..le makes the announcement, and make you own announcement, something as to the fact that you have disfellowshipped the WBTS for membership for some years as a NGO in support of the United Nations. And site several scriptures, then leave.

  That would give the R&F something to remember.

  Was it ever, I remember two sisters in particular, they and thier daughters knew just about every bit of gossip there was to know about any and all jdubs at their current congregations, and also about those who had moved within the past few years.

  What I thought was odd, is that when we would be around them and ask, whatever happened to ...., we would get a full blown intell (gossip) report from them. When pointing out that we just asked about them to be polite they would look at us as if we were from a different world.

  At gatherings these two would be surrounded by more busy bodies and the news about so and so from this or that congregations would fly, I was always amazed about just how much gossip there was in this spiritual paradise (so called that is).

  Talks from the platform about gossip would just increase it, as they seemed to figure there was something out there that they had missed, when pointed out to them in private by us that they were very gossip conscious, they would agree and say so what?

  I guess they must have missed the point.

  THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CHURCH AND KINGDOM HALLS???????

  as i have never been to a church service ( except a wedding which i thought much nicer than our cold and impersonel talks) i wonder if they are as boring and repetitious as our meetings?.

  i used to think it was me, that i wasnt spiritual or appreciative enough.

  i was so bored.. we would have a talk in the service meeting about how some complain about too many meetings or going over the same stuff, and then promptly say it was our fault!.

  Big differences, at church, you worship God (whomever that is), at the hall its a dumbdown talk or why you should be obeying, following, and kissing butt of, the Borg. The meetings are so boring its sleep inducing. One thing about Southern Baptist churches, during the service, you don't hardly ever see anyone sleeping. Yet at the hall most are barely awake. The same for Lutheran services, And most of all churches at least for the most part (my experience) have yourth programs, the only youth program seen in the society is Bethel, and or pioneering (selling mags for the Borg).

  Upon reaching their teens, my kids were bored stiff at the Kingdumb Hall. Like father like children.

  The end is near!

  i went to a funeral this weekend of a much loved older brother.

  more about that on another tread.. anyway, some one came up to me and said, that these are "the last of the last days".

  i nearly fell off my chair in laughter.. what funny sayings have you heard from dubs, describing the "last days".

  i heard that the end was near, we are in the last days, and as of October 2005, thats when the end will come, this from a brother who said he heard it from his mom, a former d.o. and c.o. and some other elders, I did laugh, apologized but told him i have heard that nonsense of the last days ever since i had become a witness and now that i had faded i still hear it from you. i guess they think i will get scared and want to come back and have my mind and body controlled by them. They are very delusional. Buff

  I remember my 1st time at the spring valley, ca cong, i was told i was on the list to give a talk and i quickly informed the school conductor that no i wasn't on the list and that i didnt give him or anyone else my permission to put me on the list either. Needless to say i didn't give the talk. what a bunch of hoots. everytime i drive by that place which is oftn i get a huge adrenaline rush, it is so nice to be free of the borg.

  An Appalling Lack Of Manners & Social Graces

  is it just me or are a lot of jehovahs witnesses just completely mannerless and lacking in social graces?.

  examples....... they don't seem to say thank you for gifts or kindnesses.. i went to quite a few gatherings and burps and farts would happen without so much as a pardon me or excuse me.

  i was even told once it's natural and there is no reason to say excuse me.. they will just stop in at your house if they are in the neighborhood and stay for however long without even calling or getting your hints that you happened to be on your way out.. i have met some very nice and polite witnesses but they are few and far between.. is my experience limited - has anyone else noticed rudeness, and a lack of manners and social graces?.

  I hated it when witnesses would show up and want to use our toilet. I told some one day this isnt a public toilet and no you cant come in and use it, go home and use yours. I'm sure they were pissed about it but I didn't care, I couldnt believe these people absolutely no manners whatsoever. Buff

  from time to time some of you post letters/emails, etc that you receive from family/friends urging you to come back to the "truth", jehovah, whatever.

  even though the intentions of the sender is misguided, it is apparent that they must have some affection or feeling for you to bother to send the letter.

  others get no letters, no calls, no inquiries.

  I for one believe that the fade is successful based on the amount of "friends" you have in the troooth. The more friends "clique friends" you have the less successful the fade. The less friends, then no one notices that you are fading until you're gone. Its like moving away, they forget oh so quickly.

  Keeping ones head below the horizon, makes one easier to forget. They may remember the Van you had for going out in service "meaning they didnt have to pay for the gas", but when all is said and done they the so called friends forget just as quickly as the elders do.

  Out of sight out of mind, the lost sheep can damn well stay that way. Buff

  I had it out with the book study conductor and the secretary over this, I was a rebel, I didn't report time my last 18months as an active dub, In fact I didn't even use the wt and awake mags either and I'm sure, that bothered them too. Mybook sturdy conductor use to get so mad, he wouldn't speak to me ( thank you lord), and when seeing him out in public he tried to ignore me and so I took it upon my self to really embrass him when he pulled that.

  This b.s. to time, thats used to judge your spirituality, your motives, your abilities, etc. etc. etc. I wasn't in the school shorting after joining it. I was a master instructor at one time and didn't want or need the b.s. they called a ministerial school what a load. Get someone up there and public judge what they did as if the supposed janitorial instructor they had knew anything about being an instructor. Buff

  gastric by pass surgery

  i am going to be under the knife so to speak, will be having gastric bypass surgery and wonder if any of you out there have had it and if you have any suggestions for me????

  I would like to thank all of you for your comments, yes its not fun to go through this, but most people have genetic problems, or perhaps ambulatory problems like I do, I cant walk hardly, so it is very hard to lose weights aerobically, i do resistance training for upper body but it really doesn't help to lose weight, my last diet, religiously followed helped me to gain 17 lbs. Not much help I would say, my metobolic burn rate is almost nonexistant. so there fore the surgery. thanks again. buff
