i was raised as a witness and i was taught from a very early age that "reaching out" was the most important things i could do in life.

Have U Ever Realized No One Wanted To Work With U In Service?

What is worse than no one wanting to work with you is when you get paired off with the overzealous bro/sis who want to convert every door. Even when it is not their turn. I hated when my partner butted in and took over the conversation.
Ha ha The first time this happened to me I witnessed for myself the good ole "Foot in the Door" I hated service and only went when I had to. I would be the one praying that no one was home... I

I am angry because the Jehovah's Witness religion made me feel guilty about everything and robbed joy from my life and my family.
OMG You just summarized my life and all that I am angry about. So many things! Angry that I brought my children up in that religion... Thank god we have all faded now. I have family that is still in but basically have been shunned by them all.
I love my life now, no judgement I am just trying to be happy and live it to the fullest I can.

JW visit after 4 years
by Cicatrix ina couple of jws came to my door last saturday.
i knew one of them from my old congregation.
i am da'd, and thanks to a nosy jw lady who happens to work at our bank, the elders have our new address (they told me that's who they got it from).

My family was the "bad association" category. Even though my dad was an elder, his kids made his position a shakey on at best. We were always being councelled for some sin!
My brothers and older sister were forced to pioneer in the summer, I kinda got over because of a health issue but was still expected to go D2D every Saturday and 1 day during the week Once I got a beating because I told an Elder that field service made me sick!

Are aborted fetuses resurrected?
They already answered this one in a QFR from quite a while back. The answer is "No" - something about them never having the "breath of life", therefore they were never "souls", or some such absurd extrabiblical tommyrot.
You could probably find in a search of the WT-CD.
I want to say it was 20 or more years ago. They have scrupulously avoided the topic ever since.
Yeah But!!! Abortion is wrong because you would be killing a soul, life. Life starts at inception. No wonder why they have avoided the topic, it opens up to many other questions... My Questions was: If Jehovah provides angels (by way of JW's calling) at peoples houses that are on the verge of killing themselves or something on that note, why then can't he prevent "Faithful" JW's from being harmed/killed now? I will give example to explain my feelings. There was a Circuit Overseer his wife, and another couple on vacation in Spain or somewhere... The car they were driving was rear-ended and the two wifes were killed. Now, why would a loving god REWARD the brothers for all their faithful/hard work with the deaths of their wifes in this system only to be promised with the wonderful resurrection in the new system and they cannot be with their wives. How loving is it really to have your memory of the former things to be wiped out. How loving is it to torment parents with the idea that they might live forever but not have their "unfaithful children" along with them. This is not LOVE.

they hold that this was gods original purpose and further believe that the restoration prophecies (isaiah 11:6-9; 65:25) foretell a future return to this state.. for the most part, jw publications have (wisely) avoided discussing the specifics of this belief, but one notable exception to this rule was the article "when all nature will be in harmony" which appeared in the october 8, 1982 issue of awake!.
this article basically asserted that predation is simply a learned behavior that is connected to the fall of man in some unspecified way.

not sure what to do about this...
by dobbie inso sis in law father has been on dialysis for yrs and is elderly and hubby just got a text from his bro 'just so you don't put your foot in it ******'s father is stopping dialysis this wk and has 2 wks to live' (hes a jw too).
so i said to hubby he should reply and mention how sorry we are but he said why as they're treating me(dobs) like dirt and he doesn't see why he should.
but although they have cut me out now totally it seems i still think i should do something.

Send the card, it is the right thing to do. And Yes you are better than they are.
