it was great when they showed homer coming up with his date for the end of the world; it sounded a lot like the watchtower's version.
I know how you feel. I feel ashamed sometimes when I think how blind I was. At least when Homer refigured his caculations after his first date failed everyone stopped believing in him. To bad thats not true of the Borg.

so it has become habit for me to go out of my way when driving to make sure i can give it the finger as i drive by.
i especially like to do this on the way to one of my favorite bars, especially on meeting nights just so people who knew me can see me do it.
i don't know why, but this has become a tradition of sorts.
Man o man, I know how you feel. Instead of flipping them off, I would drive by ( hall is not far from my house) with the radio blasting, tatoo's showing while smoking a J. It kinda of made me feel free, knowing that I was free to do what I want with my life. One part rebellion, one part freedom, mix them together and its a fine tasting drink.

man, i had to read at the book study tonight (which is still at my house btw).. this was the first of the real "meat" of the daniel book (spam more like it, actually).. anyways, for those of you that don't know i am trying to get up the nerve to explain to my wife what i have been learning.
i found tonight was a good night to make some comments in a non-threatening "book study" environment that she (hopefully) will remember.. this weeks book study lesson is posted here, by the way:.

I like your style, how covert, working from the inside to bring down the borg.
It would drive me crazy to have to regularly sit thorough meetings, knowing what I know now. I was crawling out of my skin just sitting in the Memorial last year. Also what's the deal with hiding the Dea Sea scrolls? Could it be to hide Mary Magdalene's importance to Jesus? If Mary really was an apostle or close disciple than that would throw Catholic Dogma right out the window.

I have a hard time believing that any organized religion has the truth. Mainly when " The Truth" is taken from a 6000 year old book that has been rewritten several times to fit individual’s beliefs. How can there be one truth that is only found in our versions of this book. In my humble opinion the Bible is nothing more than book, with great stories of moral development. To say that any Church or Organized Religion has the best way to Heaven is just as blindly following dogma. Might as well be a JW, at least you don’t have to worry going to hell.

I used to love talking about the trinity. At the age of 12 I could spin the Borg Trinity Dogma and make it sound pretty damn good. People accepted a lot of literature from me but I always failed to get bible studies. The only studies’ I started were with old people who were lonely and like the company. It's probably why I turned out doing pretty well in sales. There is nothing harder to sell than a crazy cult religion.
