  Will You Make Room for Pioneering?

  regardless of scriptural implications, creating special categories of service such as colporteur, pioneer, special pioneer, etc.

  was a brilliant move.. the prestige, status and few little perks associated with those committing to being full-time workers is miniscule compensation for their sacrifice of time, lifestyle, income and educational opportunities.. yes, the hour requirements have dropped on several occasions.

  how many on the board know that the regular pioneer requirement was once 150 hours a month, then 1200 hours a year, than 1000, now 90-vacation/assembly time?.

  My wife and I regular pioneered together. I never got over my fear of witnessing no matter how many hours I put in. I did enjoy the conversations though, because of the gain in experience.

  It however fortunately for us it was the beginning of our escape from the borg. Why request and appoint regular pioneers when the territory is being covered every two weeks. I began to see through the scam.

  It is all behind me and I have never been so relieved. Even this alone is proof that the WTS is apostate. Jesus said "my yoke is kindly and my load is light", so if the WTS were true followers of Christ, then no one would feel such a weight being lifted from their shoulders upon leaving.

  hello, i've been lurking the board for quite sometime now and i have also read crisis of conscience.

  my hubby and i stopped attending the meetings since december and had our first christmas in 6 years.

  it was fun although the feelings of guilt are still within us.. we've been visited by the elders twice but we managed to keep them at bay.

  So does this indicate that Freeminds is telling lies and fabricating evidence?

  Sage when you say original watchtowers, are you referring to volumes or individual magazine? I believe that Freeminds claims that these articles changed from original magazine to volume.

  Could someone please confirm or deny that Freeminds has incorrectly quoted the above Watchtower

  I find your portrayal of the Borg to be totally unnacceptable. Yes they are a group whose total control of its members is overwhelming and they have been known to be responsible for the death of many people as well as the destruction of many families.

  However they do give their drones amazing amounts of knowledge and a complete sense of belonging in the hive mind. This is not at all anywhere near as bad as the organisation ruled by the two images you show.

  Song of Solomon - YEAH BABY

  i just reread song of solomon for the first time in over ten years.

  despite using the nwt, which butchers most biblical poetry to admiration, i was nevertheless struck its beauty.

  if you haven't read it, it is about a shepherd's love for one of solomon's concubines, and it evokes a delicious, aching, tantalising, desire - yup really.

  so thats where my spiritual training fell down. I used to read the story bits in the bible like the flood and such or read the mags I just picked up before the meeting. (Always got them read this way)

  Had I known that the road to true spiritual enlightenment was through the porn of Song of Solomon, I'd have been an addict like you Im sure. Obvously someone is to blame for this great lacking in my spiritual upbringing. Ahh, what the heck, Ill blame my congregation elders, might as well.
