quick question...are JW discouraged from having pets? when yes ...why???
In the 4 years I have worked as a Vet Tech we have never had any JW clients, not to my knowledge or Doc's anyway. We are nosey about those kinds of things We don't do a whole lot of blood transfusions and I don't think JW's allow them for their pets either but I could be wrong.

one surely will not have god's spirit if one preaches a negative message (against jehovah's servants) from door to door.

am not here to peach. You Know taught me the folly of doing that in this place. I am just in this place to set the score straight. The Bible tells me to set opposers straight and expose their errors. I am not being hypocritical. We will provide comfort through discomfort.
Why preach a kingdom you will never see, or understand according to the Bible? John 3:3 says that quite plain.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

so i get out my wife'ss bible (nwt) and boom there it is...my bible has the alpha and omega refrence in rev 1:11...hers does not.
i then take a look at rev 22:19 and there it has the punishments for adding or deleting anything from this book.
As the text containing Alpha and Omega in Revelation 1:11 has no uncial support or any manuscripts prior to the ninth century it clearly lacks authority and that is why it is not included in most recent translations including the NWT.
Thanks for the correction on Aleph, A and C. I am looking for source materials to study on this particularly Revelation manuscript evidence for the ones you mentioned. Could you give me some suggestions on ones (source material) you recommend or have used?
There are many Syriac and Latin translations from as far back as the SECOND CENTURY that agree with the King James readings. For instance, the Pashitta (145 A.D.), and the Old Syriac (400 A.D.) both contain strong support for the King James readings. There are about fifty extant copies of the Old Latin from about 157 A.D. Then Ulfilas produced a Gothic version for Europe in A.D. 330. The Armenian Bible, which agrees with the King James, has over 1,200 extant copies and was translated by Mesrob around the year 400.

I don't know because but the oldest manuscripts (A, B, Aleph, C, and D) do not contain even one verse of Revelations. They are missing all 22 chapters of Revelations as well as the first 45 chapters of the Bible. These are the manuscripts the newer versions are based on. I am researching to see what families of manuscripts the newer versions used for the missing chapters.

no, this isn't another childish photoshop prank.. in the past day(s), probably many of you have noticed the facility that i had to lash out unnecessarily at other people.
i've insulted people who came to support me, i've embarassed myself, gone into arguments that i couldn't win, made a pretty flagrant face-about, and generally, made an ass of myself.
and for that i'm sorry.. to tell the truth, the last day (s) has/ve been a nightmare of sorts.
I know that there's some light at the end of the tunnel, and that all is not lost. I need to get my mind off things, to have fun, to enjoy life.
Cheer up! At least you don't need to fear seeing me at the end of that tunnel! I am 4 tunnels over to the right working for Ripley's.

i suppose their excuse is that the shares were donated as gifts and through wills etc, yet surely they should not accept them if they are not appropriate to the teachings of the organisation.
