You scared me with the title of your post but then I got it once I read the body... Held my breath for a moment though. Interesting concept you have come up with.
I personally think I currently prefer to consider myself a Christian Witness of Yahweh.
I just went to church for the first time in a long time the other day (hadn't gone since 1998 when I started studying with JWs). It was surprisingly great! I was happy to partake of the emblems and sad that I had missed out all those years on being able to worship God freely in my own personal way and at the same time with a group of Christians. It was obvious that everyone there had his/her own personal views when it comes to "truth" and yet they all worshipped in harmony sharing their mutual love and appreciation for God and for Jesus. No doctrines being crammed down their throats, no hatred of the world, no bashing of other religions, no shunned people, there were even plans for a faith share where all the neighboring churches were going to get together for the greater good. There were classrooms for all the different grade levels so the children could associate with eachother and be taught at their own pace and level.
Anyways, I'm babbling... My point was that the pastor kept using God's name, Yahweh, during his sermon. I found it surprising and refreshing. Below is an interesting read regarding the use of Jehovah vs. the use of Yahweh. Let me know what you think of it if it peaks your interest.
Hope I didn't hijack your thread I always enjoy reading your posts and your comments. You have proven yourself a true friend to those in need of spiritual help and you are an intelligent person. I am glad you have had your own interest in Christianity peaked by the whole experience.
