Pics of tornado damage by our house that hit FRI night
by purplesofa inthree of my kids live within two miles of where this tornado hit friday night.. it was a pretty frightful night.
my daughters apt was three inches from getting flooded.
we moved what we could to upstairs and on shelves.. stayed in half bath with grandbaby with pillows and blankets over the baby.. my son has been working at this site where it hit to help out.. these pics were taken today (sunday) can't imagine what it looked like yesterday, they said there were over 300 (worldly) .

I don't know if there is no grass because of the tornado or if it was not there before it hit, but I have heard of tornadoes taking up the grass as well.
I passed five power trucks on my way out to take these pics

people helping to clear roadways and driveways of trees and debris, bringing food out to the workers.
Some still do not have power today.

Why doesn't anyone worry about all the identity fraud that goes on with the illegals buying social security numbers?
Actually, I started a thread on this and it got no responses, seems most of our identity fraud comes from Puerto Rico and they are working to do something about it.

It seems that it's a "crime" to have the wrong address on your license. Lucky for me, I haven't moved lately.. like I'm gonna go stand in that line just to get my address changed...yea right.
Here in AR you have 30 days to change the address on your DL after you move. I have gotten a warning ticket for not doing it and one of my sons actually got a ticket for not having his updated in a timely manner.

My kitty is having kittens soon and Im stressing about it. Advice?
by WuzLovesDubs inlike i dont have enough going on right now...my kitty is expecting and im not sure when she actually got pregnant but im thinking her due date might be around 5/10.
i have read online a bit about the process and i hope she can handle this.
i made a secure and private kittening box for her and she seems to like it in there with ripped up rags she can pile up into a nest.

I remember the first cat I had that had a litter of kittens, I totally freaked out, My BF at the time did come and help out, but said to just let nature take its course. One kitten was stillborn.
Years later, no BF, we had another cat with kittens. I had to come home from work for the event.
The mother had a bit of trouble, I was less squeamish and helped her with the delivery of two kittens.
I just kinda helped her when she was pushing. or what looked like pushing. the kitten was coming out OK!!!
She had a beautiful healthy litter and we only had to help her out with feeling safe as she had them in the closet and I wanted them moved.
When I moved them, she moved them several times before her and I had a place we both could agree on.

Have you ever been to a club or bar and the ABC comes in and checks everyones ID for age?
Can mess up a good time for sure. You choose to get offended by it. It can be frustrating and maddening when you are legal and having a great time. When you are doing all the right things and someone isn't. If your going to be offended.....Be offended at the offenders.

Actually I said
I don't find having to show proof you are an American citizen to be degrading. And I wish people would not feel so offended by it.
IMO, being offended vs. being frustrated and maddened by it are not the same.
