I read Jaycees book as well, It was well written but I had to take my time reading it, as emotionally I could only take it in small doses.

If there was no conviction of the rape/abuse I think the word alleged has to be used by the media.
When Eman Al Obeidi was raped in Libya, even thought she had a positive test kit that proved she was raped,
in the media "alleged" has always been used as there was no cinviction.

The first thing my friends pointed out when I shared msnbc's coverage was the use of the word ... alledged.
I am surprised they came out with a statement.

with all of the hype surrounding sparlock ... i didn't see anyone post anything about the sunday drama at the convention.. my husband and i decided that we were only going to attend the sunday of the convention.
we drove down, but got cold feet and we ended up going out for coffee and hitting up the local shopping mall, heading over to the convention for lunch to show our faces, then taking off home for the afternoon.

they haven't said anything about it as of the time of this post.. i decided to call the media department at this number (718) 560-5600. i identified myself as a researcher who also has some websites.
i was asked for the web address of my website.
They won't make a statement because then more people will know.
Why broadcast it? I would not say a word either.

Since I doubt they will give up the two witness rule.
All accusations should be treated as the awful crime that they are and reported to the authorities.

It is simple. You hold a Judicial Committee. If he has not/will not report to the police - he is not repentant. You disfellowship and never let him back until he has confessed.
It's not that simple. Will they hold a Judicial meeting on the accusation/ testimony of one lone child?
