I saw this on FOX News today.......they are really hunting him down.
There was a story on child abductions, I really did not get to see it all, as I was working
but his picture was on FOX and the whole waiting room at hospitol was talking about it.

This is a story I heard from friends of mine at a convention in Texas.
The convention was over and the attendants were directing the cars out of the parking lots.
Well.......you know how the handicapped parking spaces are close to the building. Well, these spots were also the closest ones to be able to get to the road.
The attendants let the handicapped parkers out first, ...........for a solid hour.
My friends husband fineally went to the attendant and said........When we are in our cars we are all equal.........Let the rest of us out of here!
The other cars started to honk their horns........and the attendants fineally let the other lines out.
He did have a point.

The next stage of the recovery process, farewell friends
by wanderlustguy ini had to stop back in for a little bit (taking a short break at work) to post something with some actual substance more than my occasional welcomes or one-liners.
not too long ago i posted a pair of angry tirades about how much i hated the organization that i feel was instrumental in taking from us the basic things we all are owed by our families.
i was so angry at them, hate would be an appropriate term for my emotions.

The most condescending thing said to you by the (sm)elders.
by diamondblue1974 ini wasnt the most academic of children although i had some capability but i could read quite well by the time i was 4 years old at least for my age; i have always read as a child and still read now as an adult both professionally (research) and for pleasure.
i have always been able to write too...and pretty much advanced as well as my peers did in school...perhaps i am lucky, i certainly feel like i am when illiteracy amongst adults and children is rife at present...however.. i remember when i was 16 the wts in the uk were pushing through a scheme teaching those who were not as able to read and write...and an elder in the hall made a point of coming to me and suggesting that i should actually attend the training!!
!....i explained that i could read and write well enough and didnt need to be taught basic literacy... he said that i might learn something new and should respect jehovahs order of things and show appreciation...i did decline his kind offer rather abruptly....but wtf??

I was going back to the meetings after 9 years of being out, working towards reinstatement. So, I did not want to miss any meetings. My son was coming from Missouri to Texas to visit, I had not seen him in about a year. He was riding with some friends of mine that were going to Houston. I had booked a flight for my son to fly from Houston to San Antonio to arrive early in the am. His first time to fly btw...about 15 years old. We lived about 60 miles from the airport.
The plane came in on time but I got lost going to the airport. Which made me late getting to the meeting.......My son had been up all night on the drive from Missouri. and then caught a plane .....then an hour drive to the meeting..ha what fun for him. Man what a freak I was.
Since we got to the meeting late, no seats on the back row, we had to sit in the front row. I surely did not want to sit there, but had no choice. My son was in jeans..........
After the meeting, an elder came up to me and said " Next time you might want to sit on the back row as you are disfellowshipped, then people would know not to approach you." I also just started recently going to this congo.
I was so pissed..........I remember wanting to say....why don't you make the DESERVING people sit in the front row so I CAN sit in the back or rope off the back two rows for disfellowshipped people so we got a proper place to sit..........or would you rather I tattoo DISFELLOWSHIPPED across my head??
There is no doubt in my mind, you will hardly find a story of any one that tried so hard to not miss that meeting in that Kingdom Hall that morning. It almost made me never go back.
