Being fired as store manager for not going to Xmas party.......when they are really the time when they acknowledge years achievements, and such......but do it at X-mas time....being in such a high position is was inexcusable.

What was your most humiliating point of being a jw?
by love11 inmine was when my mom signed me up to sit at a table at our local university.
we had to sit there and talk to students as they passed by our table.
a few people came up to start a conversation and i didn't even know what they were talking about.

long frumpy skirts........blouses the my grandma would not wear........i really struggled, and even was more "hip" than most.........ugggggggg.
did you experiance the same thing??.

I thought this was kinda nice.........what do you think? It was really difficult, dressing and undressing, getting ready for the meetings.......stressing out, anxiety. two nights a week.......makeup, clothes, hose, shoes... I dont know why that had to be such a big deal. As much as we went, that even became burdensome, on top of all the studying and everything else. Thanks for all your comments.!!! purps

my take is that this would be an international problem.

I think it is an interesting article and should not be discounted..........
American kids rebel and do things secretly to "commit suicide" concerning the truth......Maybe it is something in their culture, their religion.......
Maybe the witnesses need to let the kids parents take care of thier own children and not try to give them the literature. They are minors afterall.
