  i'm not really sure if i have the right to spectulate about this or if i'm just being paranoid.

  but why does it seem that some of the posts lately are being made by--false prophets??

  it seems to be an odd similiarity to some of the posters and it's just been "urking" me lately.

  Zodiac--I sympathize with you, more than you know. You sound a lot like me, although, I made the biggest mistake I could've possibly ever made, I came so close to converting all for love, I was stupid, still am, still love him. When I see him, still my heart jumps.

  But I broke it off with him, hoping to detoxic myself from all my feelings for him and all the crap the WT put me through. Having a very hard time escaping from both--believe me--I still feel doomed.

All my neighbors are married[lol], all my friends want to hook me up with their 'friend of a friend', but blind dates suck, I'd rather flirt with the guy for awhile, before actually going out on a date with him. Put up an ad? I might as well tack up poster around town: "horny girl searching for cute man", or put a sign on my back. Any suggestions???

  Was Rutherford drunk when.....?

  have any of you read the finished mystery that was written in 1917?

  it was started by russell and completed by rutherford who published it.

  i am half way through the book and have skimmed through the majority of it.. rutherford either had to be drunk or crazy when he wrote that pitiful interpretation of revelations.

  i just happened to glance a the date as i was posting 2-13-02. one day before valentines day.

  i realized that i don't have a valentine.

  i subscribe to the idea that it is better to be alone and wish you were with someone than be with someone and wish you were alone.

  NWT translation

  i have been doing a lot of research lately on jws and the new world translation.

  through history, i found that king james, in 1604, ordered a commitee to accurately translate the original scriptures, from hebrew and greek, into the english language.

  this took 47 people 7 years to do and thus came up with the kj bible.

  It's bogus, it is so corrupt and misleading to influence the minds of the WT thinking. It suits the beliefs of JW, not a real bible in my opinion. And if you compare it's writting to other bibles, you notice the difference. It's BS.

  Zodiac--all I can say is RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!

  My relationship with a dub, seriously almost ruined my life.
  It is overwhelming, it's insanity to be honest.
  Even if you think religion isn't an aspect in your relations, believe me it is, no matter if you two talk about it or not, in the end I was faced with the dilemnia--convert to his way of thinking[believing] or theirs no future...
  It sucked.
  Even though, I know he still loves me, and I do love him, we can't be together.

  But I do hold on to one thing: if it's meant to be somehow, someday we've find each other again, I just won't change and he won't meet me half way.

  Actually, I turned an inactive JW into a full-service JW, field duty, meetings like 5 times a week, a preacher of perfection, once a fun guy, into a dud of a dude.

  I drove him deeper into the borg, while the borg totally drove me to the point of insanity.

  The luck is all mine.

  What's Your Definition of "Spiritual Need?...

  " one of the jw's favourite catchphrases.

  "we are conscious of our spiritual need" they say in a self-congratulatory way.. "the vast majority are not conscious of their spiritual need" they say in a condemnatory way, to provide some reason why no one listens to them any more.. so what is it?.
