How many borders do you see?
by kenpodragon inrecently my wife and i went down to the "four corners" marker in the united states.
for those who do not know what this is, it is the place where utah, arizona, colorado and new mexico all meet up at one location.
basically, you can stand on one spot and be in all four states.

i understand from usa today october 29 2002 page 4a that hattie mcdaniel,the actress who won a oscar for her role in above film had an alter built for her on the day of the dead.. therefore should a jw watch gone with the wind as they is a pagan connection?.

in fact, gen. 1:30 states that all creation ate vegetation.
one could deduce also from the bible that the carnivore/prey cycle is not god's original plan and that possibly it would be done away with in a paradise earth (isaiah somewhere).

Sometimes you have to lie to cover your arse: for example..My boss asks me where's the no scan report, I tell her, 'I never got the report', when the truth is I forgot to do it.
Sometimes, you have to lie to protect peoples feelings: For example, 'Is this pimple on my nose really noticable?" The kind ans. would be: "Not at all, don't worry about it."

i need confirmation about a rumour i keep hearing about in my country.
several jw's who know about the wt-un affair are saying that in usa the wt is having the elders in the congregations give a speech accepting the blame for this scandal & asking for forgiveness or something similar.

Did You Get Your Flu Shot?

Baptised Twice!
by PopeOfEruke inmy friends mother has been a jw for ages, and i was amazed when i heard she was baptized twice as a jw, once in the 1940's and again in about 1961. .
whats the deal with that??
she mumbles something about things changed in those years and the earlier baptism was invalid or needed re-doing.... .
