  Phallic Symbols

  this morning as i was waiting for my ride into work, i was looking at the trees in my neighborhood.

  i don't know what kind of trees they are, but some look like steeples.

  i remembered how we were taught that church steeples were like phallic symbols pointing up into jehovah's nose.

  My Story

  first off, i want to give prop's to "dantheman"......that post inspired me to share my experience, and thanks to everyone that responded to my first post under "desperately seeking"....that was a nice welcome.

  this might ramble ..... i was born and bred into the borg....my dad was/is an elder, i had a big family, two older sisters, three younger bro's....i was baptized at 15 (i'm 25 now) and tried to pioneer...give talks...have repsonsibilities...but the wrong feeling that had been welling up in my stomach and kept getting stronger as time went on.. when i moved away from my hometown at 17, my life really started to change.....i met an awesome girl (another jw)....and we fell in love pretty quickly...and i also left home and got my own apt.

  (much to my fathers sadness).

  FYI-definition of a Satanist by a Satanist

  in my opinion, there are three different kinds of "satanists" with many many shades and degrees in each category.

  however most pagans and all christians lump "satanists" in the same gravy.....a negative one.

  so for reference if anyone is interested, and of course this is only my opinion, not fact(as if fact was even an option...)---.

  Oh let's see THREE people? My mother, my aunt, and my forever lurking cousin--most definitely. Besides, I feel I can make my own happiness--some people need help to find it.

  non, je ne regrette rien.. mr. moe has said that she doesn't want to enter her 50's (that's about 25 years off, btw) and look back on her life with a feeling of regret.. relax, you probably won't!.

  you see, i have made the most apalling mistakes in my life.

  There's no sense for regret--you can't turn back the clock and change things. All that matters is the present and the future--learn from your mistakes, grieve for your losses, then stand up and move forward.
