75 years of marriage is quite an accomplishment regardless of their beliefs and worthy of recognition. Congratulations to the couple.

Hi JH,
My son(15) and my husband got a kick out of the first game. KY's scores were 644.5m, 580.2m & 437.9m
They really LOL at this second game. We (my son & I) were only able to get that drunk to walk as far as 49m, 55m, 64m, & 71m.
How far were you able to walk him?

Hi and Welcome Exjwshell,
I am also a new poster on this board. Although I've never been a JW, I'm married to an ex-JW and received a warm welcome as well. So, be encouraged, accept the fellowship, support, freedom and love here. Most of all keep the posts coming. You'll find joy in taking an active part in this forum.

Hello
by sweet tee inthis is my first forum post though i've been out here reading yours for a while.
i didn't know how to post my bio.
i became a jdub at the age of 16. i had a child out-of-wedlock who was 1 year old at the time and i was searching for answers - i wanted my son to have a future and the one the witnesses portrayed was better than anything i'd ever heard!

WELCOME SWEET TEE !!!!!!!!!
Wow! You jumped right in boldly with both feet. I think that is a good thing. You'll find the water is not bad at all and swimming will become second nature.
You expressed yourself so well in the sharing of your story. Many will be able to relate finding similarities to their own situations. Perhaps those that view only will be inspired to share also. I know you will be encouraged to continue posting by the support you receive from this group.
I'll be looking out for your future posts.

Never been a JW, never had a study, have had numerous and in depth conversations with them as they have on many occasions canvased my neighborhood, and I've never been to the KH although invited.
I've been married to an exJW for just over 8 years who frequents this site . We very often have engaged in our own studies of the bible. Several years ago he even attended church with me. He often mentions I should go to a KH meeting atleast once just to see what it is like compared to a church service. I am, however, not interested.
My religous background or experience has been Episcopalian>Non-Denominational>Baptist.
I believe in God The Father, Christ The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

Tough day -- my mom died today
by cruzanheart inpoor thing, she's had alzheimer's for about 10 years and the last year she's been on hospice care because she's been so close to death.
the past few months she's been slowly filling up with water -- they gave her lasix (not sure of the spelling) to relieve the edema and it worked, sort of.
last weekend she actually looked a little better.

Hi Zach,
Welcome to the board. My son is 15, that is quite a bit older than you. However, my granddaughter just turned 7 yesterday. She loves to play computer games for kids, bike riding, and roller skating. What do you like to do? Do you like to read? What is your favorite book to read all by yourself ? I'll be looking out for your response.
Hip Hip Hooray!!!!!!!!!
You made your first post today.

Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!
I like the game. I didn't quite catch on at first. I wasn't able to get the speed up at all and when the car hit the wall the body dropped out and got dragged away. However, I now have it figured out. My first and highest score of the few attempts I've made so far is 644.9 meters.

I concur, that was really cute and it made me chuckle.
FlyingHN an all in one package deal is definitely much more preferable. My hubby is also that kind of man.
