A very endearing /heartwarming photo .It's always nice to see the softer side of a man ,especially when it comes to children. It gives me great joy to see my husband interact positively with the grandchildren. We have three girls that are 2, 4. & 7 years old. They can be so sweet and loving at times. They say and do the darndest things out of nowhere that just touch your heart.
Belated congrats on your Jedi status.

We Have Wonderful People Here
by Sparkplug ini have to tell a story.. yesterday i begged my boss to let me leave work to go to reunion arena and try to find a child or a mom and child to take in.
then i bugged the heck out of six of nine to go with me because i was not sure what i was getting into and did not want to go alone...though i would have.. so we went to the store and bought 100 dollars of items.
well i went over budget and six paid another 100 for the rest of the items.

All three of my children were born vaginally. The first two were born at a maternity center that specialized in midwifery. They are approx. three years apart. I went to a regular hospital for the third birth which occured six years after the second.
1st ~ girl : 6lbs 5ozs , 19 inches long , labor was 4hrs - Woke up to a spurt of fluid wetting my undies. No pain was associated with it. This occured several more times during the morning. After calling the maternity center, I went in. They determined I was leaking amniotic fluid and kept me. Contractions began to occur, with increasing pressure each time, accompanied with the loss of more fluid until it finally burst completely. My child came so fast, they had to stop at the door of the labor room in the midst of transporting me to the delivery room.
2nd ~ girl : 5lbs 6ozs , 18 inches long , labor was 4 1/2 hrs - Suffered grueling back pain during the week before actually going in. I was not dialated enough and my labor pains were not consistent or frequent enough for the hospital to take me.
3rd ~ boy : 8lbs 10ozs , 21 inches long , labor was no more than 5 hrs - All I remember is the pain was intense and it came to my rememberance, at the time, just how painful the process was. I have always had natural births. I did not want to allow passage of the head of my child. I refused to bear down when it was clearly time to do so. I was warned that it would take that much longer if I didn't do what was necessary. So, I gave in and suffered through it.( Whew!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So glad I don't have to concern myself with that experience ever again. Thank God for "menopause".)
And yes after it is all done, it is a blessing to look on their sweet little angelic faces and know they are healthy.

Your determination of ones stupidity is often an opinion based on that person not agreeing with you or not being willing to go along with your program or agenda or not seeing your viewpoint. It is hardly fair, just, or right for you to say who should or should not breathe because you are not capable of controlling your anger or you can't just agree to disagree. It' too easy to write someone off as stupid to appease your anger than making the effort to work at bridging or building understanding.
Uniquely gifted, talented, skilled, intelligent people can also be considered stupid in their own or someonelses eyes. It depends on the circumstances or situation. No one is necessarily all of anything. So, why shouldn't they breathe? I'm sure at one time or the other, perhaps many times for the same incident you've even considered yourselves as "Stoopid".
Do not judge lest ye be judged.
When you point your finger at someone, four more are pointing back at at you.
So, get a grip, get over it, work through it, or work it out.

H_ll yeah! The lowest price I saw here in Philly, Pa. was $2.71 this early afternoon. Later on tonight it went up to $2.99. At another gas station ( different company) their price jumped from $2.89 to $3.12. I'm only giving examples of regular gas.
You would think that with the price of gas escalating so high so quickly; reasonable.responsible people would have the common sense to use wisdom when it comes to the use of gas. But some of us can find excuses to justify wastefulness at their convenience. Go figure.

I came on board via my husband. He is a regular poster. We would discuss some of the topics or humorous postings of others. I would express my opinion occasionally. He incorporated our discussions within his posts. Finally he introduced me and brought me in.
During the course of my recovery from a lengthy illness, where I was not able to maintain contact with family and friends, I have been able to slowly feel more comfortable communicating and extending myself in support of others on the internet. I have also made strides to reestaablish contact with my family.
Although I have never been a JW, I enjoy reading the posts, I learn more about what you guys are struggling with, and hopefully can be encouraging where/when I can.

I can't hear the song because I need a new sound card compatible with Windows XP. However, the lyrics are great.
My father could use a little mercy now
The fruits of his labor
Fall and rot slowly on the ground
His work is almost over
It won't be long and he won't be around
I love my father, and he could use some mercy nowMy brother could use a little mercy now
He's a stranger to freedom
He's shackled to his fears and doubts
The pain that he lives in is
Almost more than living will allow
I love my brother, and he could use some mercy nowMy church and my country could use a little mercy now
As they sink into a poisoned pit
That's going to take forever to climb out
They carry the weight of the faithful
Who follow them down
I love my church and country, and they could use some mercy nowEvery living thing could use a little mercy now
Only the hand of grace can end the race
Towards another mushroom cloud
People in power, well
They'll do anything to keep their crown
I love life, and life itself could use some mercy nowYeah, we all could use a little mercy now
I know we don't deserve it
But we need it anyhow
We hang in the balance
Dangle 'tween hell and hallowed ground
Every single one of us could use some mercy now
Every single one of us could use some mercy now
Every single one of us could use some mercy now -
