Elders disfellowship my cousin

just a little background, my cousin is 38 and hasn't attended meetings for nearly 20 years.

then, a week later, another elder and the circuit overseer came knocking for the same reason, so she decided to go to the thursday night meeting.

then on sunday, she went for the talk, and was told she had an elder's meeting at 12:30 that afternoon.

I was going to appeal it, but after long and very hard consideration I decided for what! I dont want back in! Jehovah god knows what is in my heart, and he will judge me in the end. Not the elders or any one else!

If someone after 20 years wants to come back, change their life, and do what is "right", why disapline them. they say something like getting back one lost sheep is better than gaining one new one. Well, how the hell do they expect me to want to come back now?

Im so glad my cuz gave me this link, boy, sometimes you feel so alone, and no one can understand what your going through. It's nice to know there are so many people out there going through the same thing. One guy I talked to was right, it would be nice to be with an ex jw.
