What really happens to people when they die?
by ButtLight indo you think people can stick around, like ghosts?
i think they can, and i think you can communicate with them.
i told my mom to haunt my house when she dies.

I don't believe in ghosts, but I do believe there is unexplainable phenomena. Like JH, I would like to believe in an earthly resurrection minus Jehovah's Witnesses (unless they're really cool). Otherwise, I think we're just dead or damned if we wake up in an earthly paradise and the same JW's we couldn't stand are there, too.

So if you can't fly the American flag, can we compromise?
by TresHappy inat home with the riverboat aristocrats .
sunday, august 14, 2005 .
by all outward appearances, some of the more patriotic, god-fearing americans in town live at the foot of southeast harney street, on the right side of the (railroad) tracks and the "no trespassing" signs.

I think it is discriminatory. I wouldn't want to be forced to fly a flag or string Chrismas lights or do anything I didn't want to (within the law) of course.

Got to Go In the Hospital Tuesday
by Undecided ini've had bhp for several years, but last week it became so enlarged i couldn't pee.
the urologist let me see if it would shrink by leaving me on catheterization for several days and remove it to see if i could pee, no luck.
today he looked at my bladder through my penis.

HAS MUSIC ever sneaked up on you and changed the way your view life?
by Terry inhttp://www.freeminds.org/aftrhour/paradise_lost.htm

Yes, Terry. I am always moved by music. It sets my mood for the day and can change it to another mood. There is one song that I feel so emotionally that I can't explain it: "California Dreamin'" by the Mamas and the Papas. The lyrics are not that great, nor the melody. The harmony though is really tight. When I hear it, I actually visualize the brown leaves and gray sky and I am in this scene. Anyway, one evening readying to go to the Kingdom Hall (in my attempt to be reinstated), I heard it; changed my clothes, didn't go the the Hall--in fact, never went back again.

My MRI results are in
by Dimples ini went to the doctor today for my mri results on my shoulder.
well, i found out i have shoulder tendonitis.

Dimples, I am glad it is nothing more serious, although I know how terribly painful tendonitis is. I have tendonitis of the elbow and I have to be very careful I don't overuse it; consequently, I have become ambidexterous to counter the tendency. Anyway, I hope your shoulder feels better soon. Did the doctor give you anti-inflammatory drugs and tell you to rest the shoulder?
