CHEATING ON FIELD SERVICE
by chuckyy intowards the end of my time as a jw, i must confess to cheating whilst out on field service.. 1. i would turn up at the field service arrangement with my wife, and we would say that we were working together that day to do return visits.
as everyone went out, we would simply get into our car and drive home.
(hypocritical i know).

This past sunday's wt had a hilarious paragraph...
by Check_Your_Premises ini think it was paragraph 18 or right around there.. the gist of ithe paragraph was, "some will lose faith because our predictions failed, some of our stuff doesn't make sense, or someone treats us like crap".. the answers were just a riot.
i couldn't help but wonder if some weren't faders.. "i remember when i started in the truth, i thought, this stuff is crazy, but i just knew it was the truth because where else could i go".
"where else can we go" (i would like to point out that this is hardly a ringing endorsement).

Defd, when you share, are you hoping the visitor will some day be just like you
When I share I do it because thats something I do out of my heart. I do not EXPECT anything in return. When a visitor comes to the hall and I have never seen them before I make it point to go talk to them before the meeting starts. I see if they NEED anything, if they do, I would get it for them.
And yes my desire is that ANY visitor would show interest in Jehovah God and Jesus, like me.

You don't love God as much as me, I have my book, and you don't"
"You need me to give you this stuff, since you don't love God, and forgot to bring yours"
"You need it more then me. It is fine for me to be without a book, because I love God more than you"
Could it be possible that you may be reading their motive wrong? I know I have done that and NEVER thought those things.D.

Why are "straight women" fascinated by other women' breast?
by booker-t inthis is a non-religious question but i have always wondered why "so called" straight hetero women are always looking at or talking about another women' breast or breastsize.
you would never hear me or see me looking at or talking about another man's privates so i am curious ladies what gives.
i work with several married straight women and this is all i hear from them.

But you are already living a double life. You post here regularly against the WT wishes. Doesn't that make Jehovah sad?
No It doesnt make Jehovah sad. He knows the heart and intentions. He sees what the heart is. We as witness need to be more about the SPIRIT of the Law not just the LETTER of it. That was the problem of many in the days of jesus and the problem has not gone away.
As far as the topic goes, I would cheat all the time. I would always add 3 to 4 hours when turning in my time. I had to keep the 10 hour minimum if I wanted to stay being a MS. Looking back I'm pretty sure almost everyone lied about their time.
Not everyone.

steve
you post was like a two edged sword. Sincere and nice/mean and nasty, with a few insults thrown in. Thats ok, I do the same thing. You say, "Your scared. You have no future." Steve that couldnt be farther away from the truth. I have no fears concerning the truth. I do have fears of another kind not associated with the truth, we ALL DO. My future is very clear to me. I know what to expect, Jehovah tells us. I look forward to that day, the day when there will be no more sickness, sorrow, death, pain and everything else that causes us to suffer. It will be wonderful and I TRUELY thank Jehovah God and Jesus for what they are doing and have done for me.

Looking forward to Armageddon?
by Gill inmy eldest daughter (21) said something that stopped me in my tracks yesterday.
we were busy wrapping christmas presents (yes, we've started early this year) for her younger siblings.
then she started laughing and said: 'isn't it nice to have christmas, birthdays, easter, bonfire night, halloween etc to look forward to instead of only looking forward to armageddon!'.

Yes I look forward to Armageddon. That has to happen before we can live for ever on a Paradise Earth. I cannot wait. I just pray that I will make it through if I am alive when it happens.I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of Jesus fury.
