ARE JW hopes fading?

how often do you hear:.

"how much longer can it go on?".

"i'm tired (of waiting, being ill, poor, disappointed)".

As an active witness I have never thought I would never die and live right on into the New System. I have always Keep it in the front of my mind though. I know it will come and when it does I want to be ready.

Where are you on the map? New Maps

ok there are so many americans on the map now i had to split you all in half.. valis was kind enough to let me place the maps on his website until i found a new home for them.. photobucket seems to be a good option - at least for now.

so i have uploaded the new maps which have been updated to include everyone who has asked.. so if you were wondering where we are from.

or how close you are to other jwd posters in your area just take a look.

Does Jehovah exist without Jesus?

after years of being a jw, im now on the outside and i question everything.

one thing i cant deny though is that jehovah is god.

my doubt now is, was jesus just tagged on as a reason to create christianity.

Thats great you do not deny Jehovah, in the book of Romans it speaks of people who DO deny Him as being UNEXCUSABLE. We know from the scriptures why, as you say "TAGGED ON" 1st and for most because God is Love. He created Jesus much in the same way a parent gives birth to a child, out of LOVE. 2nd God USED Jesus to Fulfill His ORIGINAL purpose for man, which is to live forever in human perfection on a paradise earth.

last saturday, me and a friend from the hall decided to go to nc state fair together.

i have been told that the state fair is not a big deal in other areas of the country, but here in these parts, it means alot to us, expecially since we live in/near the capital city.

about the friend: he's a year younger than me, and we go to the same school.

I wonder if the congregation knows that you come here and BASH Jehovah and his People and take Pictures of you sticking up your middle finger in the bathroom of the kingdom hall..... That makes me upset

Do you think that Armaggeddon is "near" or many, many years away?

i am 40 years old and i have been hearing the same old song by jw's "armaggeddon is around the corner" since i was a toddler.

it has to come to their minds that how long are they going to keep saying that armaggeddon is "near" or "around the corner"?

or they eventually going to quit believing in this fantasy and look at reality?

did this ever happen to you?

just wondering if this happened to any of you.

did you ever go to the service group and be assigned to the different car groups.....and then....the sister that is assigned to go with you...decline and say...'i am just going by myself today and do my return vistits by myself'..... damn, i should have complained about that one!

it was very rude!
