  well my darling boyfriend has decided that he wants to go to theological college.

  i don't have any objection to this.

  and he really is the loveliest sweetess funniest genuine guy i have ever met.. but its still taken me aback a little.

  Talesin - You are so right. I spoke to him a little more about it after I posted this topic and he told me that it is like a university education. And that a Pastor is another occupation. Naturally he believes but its not the big drama I am still getting used to thanx to the dubs... And your right, their approach to religon is so simple and humble. The fact that he is so genuine and non-judgemental is one of the reasons I love him dearly...

  Well my darling boyfriend has decided that he wants to go to Theological college. I don't have any objection to this. And he really is the loveliest sweetess funniest genuine guy I have ever met.

  But its still taken me aback a little. I have started going to his church with him and really do enjoy it but I am still coming to terms with Christianity so feeling a little unsure about the whole thing.

  However he does have my full support but I don't know how to express it....

  In case you didn't pick up on it... I'm feeling confused...

  okay yay.... its just me and brooke who are the odd ones then!

  On a weekend nice and early I used to knock quietly cause I hated waking people up and these same zealous dubs would go - 'no one will hear that! this is how you knock' and almost bang the door down with their enthusiasim to share the lies troof with the householder. Leaving me to deal with the angry householder who was just woken after a big night on the town...

Even if you have been door knocking for 25 years...

  Sometimes I don't know if I was feeling worse about knocking on peoples doors harrassing them or the person I was working with...

  i have met a wonderful man but unfortunately he is a jw.

  i have never been interested or really ever been around any religion in my life so all of this right now is very fascinating to me.

  i have been thinking of studying to become one but am also having a hard time finding anything on the net that is positive about it.

  careof - i urge to talk to the people on this board and read whats been posted. Joining the witnesses is not to be taken lightly. Research what they tell you... They may sound authoritive but dig underneath the surface and realise the truth...

  Champions League Football, Liverpool vs AC Milan

  im a liverpool fan and am currently beside myself with exitement.

  this is by far the biggest game we have played in 20 years and im getting so jittery i fear i may pass out.

  Oh my goodness I had to get up at 5am this morning to watch the game... I had to leave for work by 730 and at 720 they were doing penalty shoot out. I woke up my flat mates screaming every time Liverpool scored a goal and every time dirty AC Milan didn't.... Then when they won... Oh boy!!! I was jumping all over the house!
