Then you need to reread your Bible if you think that.
jw I have read the bible from cover to cover .. and no where does it say the GB or ; the JW organization is god-inspired..I seriously don't even believe you are really a JW..I have a suggestion for you jw. How about you read the bible on its own without referring to any publications by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. And I mean really read it and think about all that you are reading.

JW - do you mean this is the first time you've had access to the bible? I encourage you to seek out what other religons teach as well. The JW's teach that other religons teach all sorts of things. I believed it for many years. Then I went to another church and found none of it to be true.
Do as the bereans in the bible did AND were commended for - keep testing these things to make sure they are true.
Don't take anything at face value.

I've heard that the good news version is funny with its translations.
i threw everything away except the bible (which i now know is crap), the songbook and reasoning from the scriptures ( to use against them... primarily the conversation stopper part).
so many posters seem be able to access jw info easily and quote it... i wonder if i should have kept everything.
at the time, it was a way to start over and commit to never going back.

i have not been on this board in a while for various reasons.
the main reason being that my best friend died on march 11th, and things have been different since that day.
i don't have words to describe how the void feels, so i won't even attempt.

The 'Mixt It Up' competition gives you the opportunity to put your imagination to dastardly use by suggesting the most embarrassing, frustrating or downright annoying task you would like to see a HM perform as a punishment for breaking House rules. If Big Brother is suitably impressed with at least one of the wicked suggestions, he will subject a HM to it.

i was out one day and we were invited in to this house in the middle of my presentation. Usually I wouldn't go in but the guy just walked away expecting us to follow. So in we went. (me and another kid in the cong about 14 years old.) I started in on my presentation again and the guy gets up and walks away. I didn't know what was going on . He returned with a rifle and sat down on the lounge opposite us. the rifle was pointed at us and the whole time he just kept loading it and unloading it. I was terrified. I really thought the guy was nuts. Eventually I demanded he go get us money for a contribution and as he left the room I grabbed the kid and we bolted from the house. scary stuff.
