Anyone Diabetic To Answer A Question?

is there anyone here that is diabetic that could answer something for me?

i am doing the finger sticking 4 times a day and have weird stuff happening.

i am very new to this and cannot afford the "training session" that my doctor wanted me to go to......just found out my friend was just diagnosed about the same time i was....and she cannot afford the same session either!.

Sunspot my fiance was diagnosed with type II diabetes 2 weeks ago. Type II is the one where you don't have to inject yourself. Chances are this is the type you have.

I am sorry to hear that they charge you for these appointments over in the states. We have had two appointments already with the dietition and one with an educator. Another one is coming. They are free of charge. Appointments to the specialist are not however.

Yesterday we went to see the dietition and got a stack of information on what you can eat how to read labels etc, GI indexes of food, portion control. I'll try to remember to bring it in on Monday and summarise some of the information for you.

As I understand it, (and correct me if I am wrong) if this law is introduced and people say something anti/negative/condemns about another person's religous beliefs they potentially can get charged with breaking the law and face the consequences.

Again my understading of this is hazy but I have heard that in Victoria a church was giving an information about the Muslims and some people from the muslim faith attended. Something was said at the church that was of a derogatory nature, the muslims pressed charges and they were subsequentially punished.

So now on to my question... If the JW's are planning on a world wide campaign distrubting a tract 'exposing false religon' could they potentially find themselves under fire? At the mercy of the law?

i think the time has come for me to say good bye.

i came here mainly for research to help get my wife and some friends out and i've done that and more!

i may still stop by from time to time but i feel i can no longer be a full time member.

Music group called Nemesis realty show

i didn't catch the begining of this commercial, but i believe there is a new realty show this fall that follows twin young men who are launching their first cd.

the show will depict their climb to fame.. the twist is that they are both coming out of the closet about being gay and their parents who are jehovahs witnesses are unaware of their sexuality.. has anyone heard about this show?.

i thought with jakes help i might start something different.

since he is a master tech with 33 years experience, and ford and toyota factory trained maybe you might have some questions about your car and i could give you some good advice to save you some money.. i usually charge $80.00 for a diagnostic at my shop, so get on board and save some money sorry for the brits but i think your cars are somewhat different as far as emission controls are but mechanically the same so let the questions begin..

Hi Hambeak...!

Are you able to give me some general advice on Aussie cars? I think they are pretty much the same though.

I drive a 2000 Mazda 323 (Astina). I had a new engine put in it January of this year and probably done 4000kms in it since then. Sometimes i notice that it seems to lack power. Or if I am driving up a hill it seems to lose revs... Is it something serious? Or is is just needing an early service?

Goodbye Mathew, King of Karoeke

dear all i am saddened, annoyed, pissed off and hurt.

this evening i learned that mathew, king of karoeke, died last week.

i learned it because i went into the 'queen vic' bar and there was a glass collecting for a wreath.

Joe I hope you can find his father. Perhaps the people collecting for the cause may be able to pass along a card or note from you?

We have a man in my area. I think he has cerebal palsy. And he does the karoake circuits too. He LOVES it... Love being an understatement. I've seen him a few times now and it always makes us laugh and smile. You can see just how much he enjoys it.

Pakistan Wedding for my Quicki Mart Friend

a man that works at the corner has been especially nice to the kids and i over the last years.

he had to go back to pakistan recently for 6 months.

he did get married during this time.

Sparky a colleague at my work is from Bangladesh. Over the christmas break he is off home to get married. Then he will return to Australia and arrange to have his new wife brought across as well.

His mother is finding a wife for him. You know this guy is so excited and nervous all at the same time. I really enjoy discussing the topic with him. And he is the sort of guy that will just worship the ground his wife walks on. He's such a kind sweet gentleman. He is also looking forward to giving her the opportunity to live in our beautiful country. As I understand it Bangladesh is not as well off as we are.

I am very excited and happy for him!
