Frannie, I am so sorry to read of the injustices you and your son recieved at the hands of the so called loving shephards!
Thank goodness that is all behind you. I know you are very highly valued here!
i really enjoy reading the stories/experiences you guys all post on here from your jdub days..... the funny, ridiculous, ironic ones make me laugh but reinforce in my mind that i've done the right thing by leaving that organisation.. the hurtful, sad, mean ones make me hurt as well but again - reinforce in my mind that i've done the right thing by leaving that organisation.. the scandals that go on - well same again - they reinforce in my mind that i've done the right thing by leaving that organisation.. i do appreciate the time you all take in writing down your stories and will never tire of reading them.
so if you have a story you haven't relayed here before because it is didn't seem relevant to a thread i would love to read it!.
cheers - miss peaches

I was at a friends house and she had hired the movie 'I know what you did last summer'. The CO and wife were staying there but in a caravan out in the front yard.
So here we were giving out lungs plenty of exercise by screaming away when in walked the CO!
He had heard us screaming and thought something was wrong. We thought he was out doing witnessing but turns out he had been hiding in the caravan!
When he saw what we were doing he give us a right telling off!!! (I was so embarrassed.... )

men do have trouble hearing women: research
men who are accused of never listening by women now have an excuse - women's voices are more difficult for men to listen to than other men's.
I have the opposite problem.
If a guy has a deep voice, and I am not talking ridiculouly deep either, I can't hear them. Well I know they are saying something but I can't distinguish the words...
So guys if I ignore you try speaking with a higher pitch.. Do it for me. Not only will I be able to hear you I'd also find it increcibly entertaining...
despite the purlple ones' religious persuasion, at this time, whats your favorite song and / or album?
i'll start.
the album purple rain is my favourite, one of my favourite songs, however is " i could never take the place of your man "
He he... I loved John Safran's Musical Jamboree intrepretation of what Prince is up to these days...
Click here to get the link to see he's little skit --> http://www.musicjamboree.com/body.html?id=282 scroll down to prince and click the play button. (TRUST ME ITS WORTH IT )
Here is John's comment about the skit:
This is my highly accurate impersonation of Prince circa Purple Rain. For younger viewers, that's just before he cut holes in the butt-cheek section of his pants. I read that Prince had become a Jehovah Witness. So I went door to door preaching the word, JW style, to experience Sunday morning in Prince's world.
although i did put money into the contribution box untill i found out about silent lambs, i never really counted how many magazines and books i picked up or ordered and no one ever said anything about paying for them.
i just assumed one put in the box what one could.
did anyone actually figure out what they might owe and put that amount in the contribution box?
Yes once the donation arrangement came into place I never paid for my literature.
I wasn't going to read it most likely anyway I was only getting it for appearances sake.
it's been ages since i have posted anything on the forum.
i guess life outside the borg is busy and rewarding!.
to get straight to the point, my daughter rang me today to tell me her boyfriend's step dad (an inactive dub for many years........1st time i'ld heard) was studying again and was moving toward going back to the borg.
BLISS!!!
How are ya luv!
All the best in your endeavors finding that information. You are doing the right thing in trying to help.... Scary how many ex witnesses are in our area and we don't even know about it!!!
Anyways see you soon & keep me posted if you have the 'CannyFest'!!!
i've been dancing since i was a little girl.
i wish i had someone to dance with.
do you dance?
I do street Latin dancing... Its heaps of fun.
i feel really embarrassed when i walk my dog down the street, as i know i wiggle but cant help it.
it really seems to have gone out of fashion, a while a go ( ok years ago) when i was young every young girl tried to wiggle when she walked but now they dont know the word!!!
they just seem to show off their bellies and forget the rear!.
My b/f says I wiggle when I am wearing heels. He loves it so much he occasionally takes me shoe shopping to make sure I have ample supply of high heel shoes...!
Awwww!
