Anewme - a My Wedding Plans thread would be good. I need as much help as I can get with this as I have no idea what I am doing. My head is literally swimming. I think we are aiming for a November wedding which is Spring over here. So all the new flowers should be out as well. I'd like a garden ceremony.

What a terrible story. We had a brother also dying from emphyasema in our cong. he eventually did die. just devestating on the people who had close dealings with him.
I see that the JW who first contacted him really went above and beyond helping him. shame that she helped him become JW though....

very sweet and easy going.
she is traveling a lot over the next two months and the person who was suppose to watch her dog has all of a sudden backed out.

Would you shame someone for going back to the Witnesses?
by free2beme ini was thinking about this, as i have a former witness friend who is showing signs of wanting to go back, even though they have expressed over the years a lot of frustration and lack of belief for the faith.
as much as i find their decision to be a mistake, i do understand why.
after all, unlike myself and family, i have never been shunned by the few family members left in and i moved on over the last decade to build new friendships and hobbies.

Absolutely not. I would never do that. You can never fully know another individuals circumstances. I would however do all that I could to try and help that person achieve happiness and a fulfilling life beyond the witnesses. My heart would break for them to go back into that insanity but you can't make up a person's mind for them....
