Met JW Facts last night....

i finally got to meet jw facts last night and had a great time.

tapas, sangria a good time was to be guaranteed.

especially entertaining was jw facts new portugese boyfriend...

Okay just to clear up a few matters. JW Facts is a straight married man who was hit on by a Gay Portguese waiter when we were out to dinner. I am a girl but I told them that I am a gay man trapped in a woman's body. LOL.

Anyway it was really a very good time. Stimulating discussion and I know my friend who came along really enjoyed him self as well.

Anyway it was great to put a face to the name and a real name to the alias. My friend and I had an excellent time.

Meeting your online love

i was just wondering if you had met someone online and had a significant long term relationship with him... would you be brave enough to meet him?

obviously not alone at first but how would you check someone out before you met them other than a google search of his name.

even some place like jwd where there is a significant level of trust .

I think there is certainly a higher level of risk meeting someone off the net. However I also know of several happy marriages where people did meet off the net.
I'd love to hear of a story between any JWD posters who met here and found happiness together. I think there are a lot of positives from many areas that can come out of this site...

hi.. i have decided to join this site and hopefully connect with some people who will know what my story has been.

i guess it is best to read my profile, but the upshot of this new found technology is that i am no longer alone in my isolation.

i can hopefully reach out and connect with people who really understand what it is like in my head!

Paul I hope that you will be overwhelmed with the support that is available to you here.
Recovering from your experience as a JW is an experience on its own. A massive learning curve.
Maybe one day you will be in a position to help others in similar situations.

CordyC, my heart goes out to you. That must be so difficult to do. Is there anyway you can get out of being on the Ministry School? Pretend to have a pressing work load? Not turn up on your talk nights in the hope that they drop you from the schedule. I appreciate how difficult it is when you have to put up a pretence. I hope that you will be able to stop associating with the JWs sooner rather than later.
