climate change is a legitimate concern - especially as it affects poor nations.
however, the subject has been twisted by greedy global elites resulting in disappointments (if you wish to call them that!

bttt for noobs - 7500 page views on the thread :-)
just when you think you've heard it all............in my research for my project, i was doing some digging around on the subject of the 144,000 and came across something in the wts's literature that absolutely stunned me and, being the generous soul that i am , wanted to pass it on to you to get your thoughts on this.. .
we all know that the society teaches that the 144,000 mentioned in revelation is speaking of "spiritual israel" and not 'fleshly israel' or even other christians in general right?
there are countless quotes throughout the literature that we are all familiar with that specifically state this, but to drive home a point, here are a few:.
worth a BTTT for the noobs...

@mP
Brinjen said it was hotter the last 3 summers, and yet theres no such material on the bom.gov.au website. I couldnt find any temp records in a simple format to digest. She said the rest of australia disagrees with me, and yet it turns out it was her opinion.
http://climatecommission.gov.au/report/off-charts-extreme-january-heat-2013/
The heatwave affecting Australia in late December and early January brought extreme heat to most of the Australian continent over a sustained period.
Temperatures above 40°C and 45°C were unprecedented in their extent across the continent, breaking new records for Australian averaged maximum temperatures.
The heat was also unprecedented in its duration.
Did you fail to notice the weather outside your window this summer? Too busy trying to work out how hot fatass people in front of TV's might be feeling?...unless you have primary evidence of that personally?

@mP - what graphs showing 2 summers are you talking about?

possibility that future climate change could be positive for world.. i still wholeheartedly wish nations could come together on reversing desertification thereby locking up carbon and improving climate.. .

(not cool to call it global warming anymore, new light, etc")
Your denialism is fully 11 years past its sell by date. Get some current bullshit.
Scientists have always used climate change and global warming more or less interchangeably. In 2002 it was Republican strategist Frank Luntz who suggested avoiding 'global warming' and using 'climate change' as this was likely to be more acceptable to the Republican audience.

Climate change scientists and hucksters have many disciples who manifest more of a religous fervor than a scientific interest.Explains the emotional component of believers who simply cannot abide those who are skeptical. "deniers" are the apostates.

@SBF
James Lovelock is another climate change doom-monger who has retracted his more extreme views. There is a lot of politics, money and dare I say it superstition involved in scientific pronouncements. It's foolish to imagine otherwise.
You're just cherry-picking. He has "retracted his more extreme views" towards mainstream climate science. He still believes humans are driving a warming planet.
Nothing to see here.
