My suggestion is that we form some kind of "reader's group" where each one of us takes a specific number of documents (or pages) and report back with a short summary indicating the most important points. Then we compile all summaries making reference to the precise document

since then we have had a few ill-advised conversations with jw friends and family stating our reasons - sometimes in emails.

also sp emailed a new friend on another forum her experiene with going to a new church.

It just rankles that 4 elders will set aside a lot of time for judicial matters yet haven;t so much as called, stopped by or asked how we are in the last 6 months.

Still - they are keeping the congregation clean, you gotta hand it to them.

Tonight is one of three evenings 4 loving elders have set aside to meet with us. We've declined an appointment at The Kangaroo Court Hotel - ***** star chamber :-)

The guy I knew as my best friend has parked his car outside the KH when I drove past on the way home.

I did let him know out of courtesy what my issues were when I bumped into him 3 months after stopping going to the meetings. During that 3 months he never so much as knocked our door or sent me a text. He lives 500 yds away. I guess he is the star witness for the prosecution.

Sweet Pea and I are having a steak dinner and a bottle of red tonight.

I am a lifelong x-JW still working my way out of the cult, and your breaking story on the UN scandal was a major factor in helping me do that.

As you probably know there is a new story breaking of equal or greater importance and it would be great if you could publish something that would help other JW's come to realise the problems within their faith.

Great news. Our unreserved love and thoughts are with the abuse victims at this time, and always. ((((((((children))))))))

In history the small ones have often made humble the great ones and surely this will be the case.

Great work Barb and all other JWD'ers involved.

Google links to JWD

might be wrong here and i'm standing to be corrected but when i ask google how many other sites link to jwd the answer seems to be only about a dozen or so.

if this is true (and even if its not) then everybody with a website or the ability to post a link to jwd should do so.

google ranks websites partly according to how many other websites link to it so we can all do something to help jwd further up the results page - currently jwd is ranked 10th for 'jehovah' and 4th for 'jehovahs witness'
