Ok you can assert what he is not - that doesn't really move your argument forward as to what 'he' is

the knowledge of God is in science,

Most scientists disagree, so at best you are making another unsubstantiated assertion

this fuels my enquirey as to why he is indifferent,

interesting personal viewpoint

it does not stop me from thinking he exists

So your default position is to believe in an indifferent God without substantial evidence for either his indifference or his existence?

In summary you have no idea what is going on - correct?

The net net result of all believer posts on this thread is 'we don't know'. That's the only possible answer you can give because none of the other possibilities agree with the Christian belief system, hold up to rational scrutiny or are just plain perverse.

You believe because you want to - please don't tart that up with fake science or appeals to 'black hole signals being a message from God' - it's embarassing to watch and just a new variant on worshipping the sun.

We don't believe because there is no evidence.

How you can say believers 'won this thread' is suitably irrational and without evidence, but I guess you also want to believe that.

Personal life stories and gentle satire are the best weapons against stupid religions.

For as long as suckers are getting born, there will be a business model to extort them, and the governments haven;t figured out where to draw a line in the sand yet.

And in a country (USA) where 50% of the population believe equally stupid stuff you are not going to get mainstream sympathy.

Its all therapy for the participants though.
