  i took this really interesting test on-line at tickle.com.

  at the end it will give you your iq.

  granted i could have done better if i wasn't distracted from watching my son, but i guess i did ok. i may take the test over again just to be sure that i was paying attention properly.

  hi Jeannie Lot's of real people here, but the distance between them are bigger than if we were all in the same room. I think this both has some advantages as well as disadvantages to real life gathering. The low threshold to come to a board like this is definately an advantage. You can actually think before you type too, not that I do that or anythingb

  that question was asked by an elderly brother who pioneered and he was a little senile too----he'd ask every person in the hall.

  it didn't matter whether they were elders, pioneers, old ones, young ones, new ones----everyone!

  he would even incorporate that question in his comments at the meetings!.......good question that no one seemed to want to answer.

  i know it is long but with the un ngo and popes statement that the un was the last hope of mankind, i feel compelled to print this off.

  well, I think this piece is pretty black/white in it's reasoning and an attempt to damage the UN. I'm a determinist myself but I don't believe in a worldgovernment or the need for that and neither I believe in Communism. I deterministicly believe that the world will become a more harmonious, balanced place but it might take a very long time. It shouldn't be imposed by the UN and it doesn't do that nor does it aspire to do that. If anyone is trying to impose it's will on the world it's America I believe.

  Einstein is pretty much the messiah of science, laying the basis for the atomic fission and all. I don't think there will be a scientist ever to surpass him as physics turned into a worldwide team-efford nowadays. There might be people which match his intellectual capacity, they'll probably never match his fame.

  as germans for the past two months have remembered the liberation of auschwitz and buchenwald concentration camps, a german, and a world war ii officer, no less, will, in turn, be remembered and honored tomorrow by camp survivors.

  I just saw "the pianist" two days ago. I think it's much better than schindlers list. Also it's based on a true story and there's this remarkable "good sameritan" German officer who later died in a soviet camp.

  When I meet Germans I tend to bring up the WWII thing, see how they feel about it. I sort of hold them to account which makes them feel powerless because they can't defend what has happened and they know it. Germany nowadays is one of the most pacifist countries in the world and I like it for that.
