Opposer Bragging Time: How People Have You Saved From JW?
by Check_Your_Premises ini have been an opposer for 3 months now, i have already taken out a bible study by providing info by proxy.. i think i will put a notch in my bible!.
what methods have you used?
how many people have you helped leave?
-
Bas
I'm an opposer, would like to help people get out of the Borg but I don't really know how. I recently moved to another town and I just looked up the adress of the local kingdomhall, thought about posting out there on a thursdaynight, check it out. Don't know any witnesses here and they don't know me, and I don't have to worry about getting shunned by anyone. So can I do something locally? (like leaving pamphlets?) Or would this only work in a negative way? Suggestions are more than welcome, and I won't do anything if I'm not convinced it works out right.

Picking the nose....
by morty inwhat is the deal with the male species thinking it is ok, to pick their nose in public??.
i find it repulsive .... it just seems to me,when i catch people picking their nose, in almost all cases,it is a man doing it..... do men, find it hard to find a kleenex???.

Governing Body talk in Holland - GB decisions are Jehovah's decisions
by truthseeker init seems that few are aware of it, but the whole talk here is posted.. http://e-jehovahs-witnesses.com/viewtopic.php?t=2337&postdays=0&postorder=asc&&start=45.
seems like holland is having problems with jw authority.. thought i'd paste a few comments from the board before pasting the talk, so you can get an idea of what is happening.... --------------------------.
thanks for the update from holland.

Thank you, thank you, you're far too kind!
-Whiskeyjack, we also had a carnavalsong bashing jehovah, it was called "Yohova!", it was a huge hit two years ago ROFL ow, but we do have freedom of religion, though we have one of the lowest rates of churchattendance in the world, which I'm (very justly) very proud of b

Introducing myself
by bitca ini've been lurking here for a while, so i figured it's time for me to introduce myself.

Has anyone asked......
by mjl inhas anyone ever asked someone about way the memorial is still celebrated?
the belief is it is to be done yearly until he arrives, but he was supposed to arrive in 1914. so if that?s the case, he?s already here.
why is it still being celebrated?
-
Bas
so Maybe if jesus arrived in 1914 he just might have died again without us even knowing where he was or what he did this time. Anyway, he'd have to come up with a bunch of new stuff to prove he's jesus and I honestly don't see any way how anyone could possibly pull it that off. What if jesus spend his days in a mental institution 'cuz everybody thought he was a nutter, seems more probable to me.
