Michigan is cold and rainy. Yesterday, it was 43 degrees and the sun was beautiful. Today, it was in the 20's and freezing rain. I am so sick of gray skies!! But my husband makes a modest income and we can eat out almost every night! It's not bad here as far as raising kids go, but it does seem a little backwards sometimes. I would like a more beach life, but I'm not sure about all of the plastic people. I told my husband that I'm not going to move unless we can live a plush life in Cal.. Right now that's not possible. I like the woods and the fields here, but the winter stinks!

my husband had to search high and low for his line of work in this town and loved me enough to move back when he saw how sad i was without them.

well, i didn't follow directions and i ended up snapping it right off the pipe....oops.
so, i took it back to the store and said..."i don't know what happened.

elders visit
by stopthepain inyesterday,i get a buzz from the doorbell,well i wasn't expecting anyone,niether was my roomate.well geuss who,2 elders i don't even know.they tried to introduce themselves and act all friendly.i said"i don't want to talk to you abot anything,before i could finish my statement,he tried to butt in and say something,i cut him off and said"listen,i don't want to talk to you about anything at all",in a firm tone.and shut my door.. i believe they have gotten wind of my activities in giving my family the truth about the truth.i believe they wanted to draw me into a trap so they could df me,i gave them no satisfaction.i know for a fact other my younger sisters friends know i can't stand the religion,and it has gotten back to the big bad elders.i could give a shit!they can't fool me anymore.again,this site has been a godsent,no pun intended.thanks to all my friends out in cyberspace,youve all hel[ped me out.. i also unloaded on my older ,depressed sister about the truth about the truth,she was not sure how to react,but i had to speak my peace.i can no longer pretend to co0ndone or keep silent,she has a young daughter,i had to at least warn her.and when i say unload,i mean unlo(ad!!
!i got into the jdubs history,lies ,changing doctrine,mental abuse,beth sarim,thier monitary holdings,thier guilt and scare tactics,thier exploitation of children,and ovwerall craziness that is the wtbts.i also kept calling it "the publishing company from brooklyn.
"i topld her i have no belief in that religion,and that i'm here for her if she needs help dealing with this.i don't know if it did harm or good,but she i feel it needed to be done.. .

I was disfellowshipped at 18. After I decided that was really IT. I did some research. I showed my mom what I had found out. I thought, if someone knew something like this- I would want to know. She said that she could see she needs to cut off ties from me. She told me, "If you and your family are not going to be in the Paradise,than I might as well get used to it now". We have not spoken in about 7 years and she's never even seen my son. I hope you are prepared for whatever happens in your situation and realize that some people are comfortable with the life they have. Even if that life is full of disfunction and lies. It's only natural to see a disaster and try to save everyone you know from it, but sometimes people don't want to be saved. Hopefully, that's not the case with your family, like it has been with all of ours.

- Breaking up millions of families all over the world.
- Turning people into mindless robots
- Telling wives to do their wifely duties to the likes of the jw men.
- and making all respectable people get crotch sweat that early on a Saturday morning.

Code Blue- What's it like living in a warm climate year 'round? Right now, I live in the mid-west and it's supposed to be raining all week. This winter has only been peppered with sunny days here and there, but for the most part it is always gray. My husband and I are thinking of moving to California sometime in the next year. Capri's are my favorite type of clothing and I think I could get used to it over there.
Sorry I sort of got off the subject, but you know- california dreaming on such a winters day.

My bad. I find it interesting that within other religions there are thousands, if not millions, of websites that pop up in a search of them. With jw's you really have to look for the positive (oops.. I mean unbiased). I wonder why local Kingdom Halls don't have their own web sites? (I don't really wonder or think it's interesting)

It took some getting used to for me too, I grew up with the Atari I played at my friends house.
I liked the old Nintendo, myself. Another game I liked and finished fairly quickly was Tak.
My sons teacher and his doctor thinks he should lay off the nintendo and only play an hour a day ( do to his attention span ) (I question any problem in that area) . Does anyone else seem to have any side effects from nintendo?
