  A celebrity look-alike?

  a few weeks ago we were out of town and i spotted this man sitting on a bench watching some outdoor performance as we were.

  he looks familiar, like some heavy gangster boss in older movies.

  I need a good color scan of the latest blood card

  i need a good color scan of the latest blood card, front and back.

  any ideas on how to get an actual card if i'm not a jw.

  i'm looking to make a tract that is about the same size, that if left on the ground or the floor, that a jw might pickup and look at.

  ok all....here's my big news!

  little old me, once-upon-a-time a 'need greater', a pioneer, an elder's wife......now i'm 5 weeks pregnant with my boyfriend!

  :) my dear ma and pa have been hiding their heads in the sand and hoping for the last few years that i would go to meetings again.. i certainly hope that they'll be able to be excited about their first 'grandbaby'.

  I'm pretty sure you know how your folks will react.

  Were they happy that you separated from your elder husband?

  Have you and your parents been close since the break up of your marriage?

  Do they like your current boyfriend?

  Are they into "marriage first," before bringing a child into the world?

  A lot of how they react to this will depend on how you present it. If you are "in your face" about it, then they will probably shrink from the situation. As you know, with active witnesses, this will probably be humiliating and troubling. If they are very active witnesses, it may cause some division. Many non witness families will have some difficulty with a situation like this as well. Go slow, soft, and don't over do it on your outward expression of glee. Give them time to digest it. If you are loving in the way you treat them, and show respect to their views of morality, then it will give them the space they need to imbrace the situation and your new family.

  Did the spirit of my dead grandmother call me?

  okay, so the dead do not communicate with the living, right?

  so answer this for me.. my grandmother died in 2003 and besides being a pallbearer at her funeral, i have not gone back to her grave sight.

  so recently i planned to go back to my home town and felt the need to go to their grave (my grandfather died in 1988).

  first off, let me apologize in advance if this subject has been discussed before.

  i have been reading this board for 6-8 months now and though i try to keep up with the posts (as well as catching up on past ones ) there is just so much info on here that i might have missed it.

  anyway, on a previous post i mentioned that there are some really sharp people on this forum; people whose bible knowledge greatly exceeds that of anyone in brooklyn.
