Where does NEW LIGHT come from?

the watchtower has said over and over that they are not inspired (even though their earlier publications claimed that they were modern-day prophets), so where exactly does "new light" come from?

if they are not inspired by god, why should anyone listen to them?.

a couple of weeks ago, an ex-bethelite(10 years) by the name of mel smith was disfellowshipped.

i understand that he still lives in ny are and has a mortgage company.

evidently, he was hurt while serving at the farm and watchtower did some horrible things to him.

but ask about hitler, stalin and queen ( bloody) mary of england and they would say that they didn't know, or that they would be resserected and given 1000 years to change their ways.... does anyone think that if the hitlers and stalins of history were resurrected and given 1000 years to change their ways that they actually would?

it seems to me they would end up doing lots of terrible stuff during their 1000 years.

Hooray! Watchtower Will Stop Molesting Bees!!

for years, loyal jehovah's witnesses have been singing about molesting bees and that "i can ever beat them off" well, it's good to know that this "beating off" capacity is the personal affirmation of every one of jehovah's people..... but no more.. i don't know what quasi-senile half wit came up with this awful song that makes anyone over the age of 18 cringe but i was told that it has been dropped from the new song book ("jehovah is my side" song 125 ).

i'm sure the bees are pleased with this "new light".
