I'm sure Whitney..."had her way". Just wish she could have *connected* with a quality individual or group that would have looked after her instead of just riding her wave of fame. We see this kind of thing over and over, it just really stands out with an individual of her caliber.

dirty trick at the meeting re facebook
by Aussie Oz inmy daughter told me about last weeks service meeting part on facebook.... the brother doing the parts asked for a show of hands who had a facebook account.. apparently a number of elders did.. (she did not put up her hand...in fact recently deleted all jws off her friends because she doesnt want them to know anything about her life).
i thought that was a dirty trick to pull.. oz.

I feel sad when someone relatively new on this board signs off because they have been offended by some posters comments
by smiddy inmany people who" become jw`s" through the ministry are people who are , at the time , in a vulnerable state.
{ lets face it had you been in your right mind you would never have accepted it right ?}.
many of the people who are" born in" are by that very fact vulnerable they never had a chance and were indoctrinated from an early age .. of course their going to have a lot of issues to deal with that history shows can take many years to shake off,if at all.. all i`m saying is i think we should give people a lot more space,and allow them to see the bigger picture that we can show them on this site,give them time to absorb the information thats available on this site,some of the things you learn here is a bit much to take in at first,beleive me i`ve been their .

I can't keep up with the threads here, so I'm probably late in asking this, but did anyone here actually know "C E"? If so, then you may have to ignore this comment....
Without knowing this poster personally, I really thought it was a guy in his 30s having fun. If "C E" is for real, then the advice given to seek professional help is the best.
I mean no harm here, so correct me if I'm way off base.

Social networks a huge no from the service meetings!
by life is to short inok so i sort of tie in and listen to the meetings.
the elders blocked my number lasy fall but then they let me back in???
not a clue what that was about.. so anywho these last two service parts have been on social networks.
