Great over view Sheep2slaughter.
But, warning......sustained and intense violence throughout the whole movie. It does not let up.
i found an article today that discusses the new batman movie.
growing up, i remember the batman and robin tv show from the 1960's, and i assumed that the dark knight movies would be along the same lines.
boy, was i wrong!!!

I can tell she wants me.
i am new here, been lurking for a while but felt compeled to join as i would like to comment on more and more of the topics i come across.
by way of an introduction here is some info about me.. i am an active jw, married with a family, living in the uk.
i serve as a ms and have done for many years.
Welcome! I can relate completely.
Gil needs to take some time. He's getting old.
i had to start this thread in light of today's watchtower study.
in paragraph 14,15 they mention the grounds for separation.
no scriptures are sighted but i am well aware of the support they usually use.. i am so sick of the watchtower making crap up!
Regarding paragraph 14, who defines what 'extreme' physical abuse is?
Well, that's up to the body of elders or Judicial Committee in your region. Rules and regulations may vary.
the other day i overheard a conversation about jws and somebody said jws don't celebrate birthdays.
the other one said he has a few friends who are jws and while they don't celebrate their own birthdays, they do celebrate his.... then a thought crossed my mind: what if those of us who did not switch to another religion and have a somewhat non-jw lifestyle (not that hard) just keep saying we are jws?
given that there should be more ex-jws than jws by now, how would that influence the public view of jws?.
DOC's got it right.
Sorry my thingie was acting up.
Sounds like a personal problem.
Geeks...
i brought up the conti case with a newly x- jw and they said that the child molestion policy was changed in 90's as far as elders reporting to the authorities.
so my question is what was the policy changed from and what did it change to?
and what is the most current letter that we have a copy of regarding the reporting policy?
NEVER SUGGEST TO ANYONE THAT THEY SHOULD NOT REPORT AN ALLEGATION OF CHILD ABUSE TO THE POLICE OR OTHER AUTHORITIES.
Why does this just sound sleezy?? Just saying this to protect the org?

Sounds like there may be a basis for turning down or choosing not to have a blood transfusion in certain cases. It would be nice to have the choice without fear of losing your family, congregation and whole support system.
this question came to my mind today as i was cleaning with my handy dandy mr. clean magic eraser.. .
with little to no effort put forth, this white little anomaly erases tea and coffee stains from your favorite mug and makes red kool-aid stains disappear from counter tops.. .
what kind of dark magic is contained in this soft, white, non-threating piece of foam rubber?.
I wonder how many of the "friends" have walked out of "Brave".....it kind of lures you in, then, BAM, there's magic!
