i remember going on holiday by myself to see if it would cheer me up any.....it didnt--holiday resort with families and couples enjoying the sun and sand and sea....anyway day came to leave..and as i was still kinda praying i remember automatically asking for a safe journey home....then i thought why...we always ask for a safe journey when we go somewhere and say thanx for a safe arrival..but jws still die in car crashes etc even on the way to meetings or conventions and despite having their blood documents in order....so i prayed for the plane to crash and put me out my misery....didnt answer that one either..the irony

by love2Bworldly ini am starting to remember something weird when i left the jw's, but wonder if it's a physchological manifestation of the brainwashing & control they had over me and the guilt trip/fear of being 'bad'.
i remember when i used to look up toward the sky sometimes and pray a silent prayer to jehovah.
after i got disfellowshipped, i felt like when i looked up and thought about god that there was almost a physical ceiling on the other side of the blue sky that curtained me off from jehovah hearing my prayers.

I was snubbed by a 'dub
by Dawn inin the last month i left my job of 15 years for a new company (better benefits, room for advancement, yadda yadda).
i'm pretty excited about this new job - and it's a very large company.
there are over 4,000 employees in just this one branch division that i work in.

no i wasnt saying it was rape..(although now i think about it its still forced sex..what real alternative did she have)....i just think its a bit rich making a big deal about not being like pagan nations who did rape.....and then offering this as an alternative

it man you could be right....but its still a bit late considering her parents family tribe fellow citizens nation and husband if she was married are all destroyed..who she gonna go back to
and she had to agree...so if she had no-one she would have to stay somewhere that she knew she was not wanted

you'd think they woulda worked it out by now dont you....shunning a 17 year old in trouble is so not going to work...where as helping one is likely to reaffirm their love and beliefs.......the awake recently had a series of articles about teenage pregnancy and i have to say that they were balanced non-judgemental and primarily concerned with the welfare of the wrongdoer....i did a survey in my area..i asked several elders what they thought of the articles...less than half had read them
these are the same bros who will be forming jcs for pregnant teenagers...and some may look up the article when they do...but really they are not getting to grips with the issues that are facing young people and so will not be able to help in a crisis...the first articles i used to read when i got the awake was the ypa...i thought their concerns were paramount

Cyber Relationships / Cyber Sex
