elders are very busy before and after the meetings.
they have many parts during the ministry school.
they have elder meetings after the meetings are over.
i looked after my group...i presumed other group study conductors were doing similarly.
if a member of my group was missing then i presumed it was because they were not well so phoned or popped by to see how they were. i didn't have to go looking for them at the hall cos they would all come say hi anyway and i was never too busy.
if they knew in advance they were unable to attend they would let me know.
i neither hounded them nor did it to save face.
i simply cared.
tijkmo of the no good deed goes unpunished class
hello folks!
thought i'd start this fun thread since it's close to the hallowed night !.
1. the exorcist .
the others
the night of the hunter
the silence of the lambs
why do they treat the like the have sinned a great sin ( oh wait i might of answered it doh!
) when they are just down a bit..
not sure i would describe it as hate..
but they think that as jws they have nothing to be depressed about....although this is not a sentiment encouraged by the org who print literature telling how to deal with depressed persons.
but ignorance is bliss...and most would rather not want to know how to deal with folk who suffer.
and jws don't have the monopoly on that kind of behaviour
i recall a ms brother about 62 years old dating and marrying a sister about 30 years younger.
i respect their choice and if they are in love, well good for them.
but i don't think it's to the best interest of the younger one...... do jw's accept bigger age differences in marriage than other religions?.
BECAUSE THEY'RE STOOPID!
doesn't take much to say something silly.... takes a fool to shout it
that song just came on, god i love it!.
feel that way about any song?.
after trevorgate, i feel compelled to contribute more to the board.. you said this board has been a little crazy latelyso heres my story.
i tried not to be too long and ramble too much.. forgive my spelling or punctuation in advance.. .
lets begin in 1984i was going to college and met my now jw roommate.
No..I swear I'm not making it up.
thats what i said
i don't disbelieve you
for that very reason.
hope you find some kinda resolution
i was listening to this song from neon bible and i wanted to share the lyrics to one of the songs:.
"intervention" .
the king's taken back the throne.
a band that does not submit to the 'less is more' principle
great live
that song just came on, god i love it!.
feel that way about any song?.
brilliant brilliant song form a brilliant album
saw him a couple of years ago in his native glasgow doing a solo acoustic set.....sadly no sax for yotc which kinda sucked.
Our time is just a point along a line
